Filter by:A Phase 1/2, open label, multi-center study to evaluate the safety, efficacy and tolerability of KY1044 as single agent and in combination with anti-PD-L1 (atezolizumab) in adult patients with selected advanced malignancies, who are ineligible for or there are no available therapies known to confer a clinical benefit for their disease, or they have exhausted all such available options in each indication and therefore will be patients for whom a clinical trial is appropriate.
The purpose of this study is to test a spiritual care intervention for adults with advanced cancer and their caregivers. This intervention will assess 4 areas of spiritual experience: meaning and purpose, relationships, transcendence and peace, self-worth and identity. Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires and participate in 4 sessions with research chaplains.
TEDOPAM is a randomized (1.1.1) non-comparative phase II study. This study will assess the efficacy and safety of OSE2101 alone or in combination with nivolumab followed by FOLFIRI reintroduction, versus FOLFIRI as maintenance therapy in patients with advanced PDAC after induction therapy with FOLFIRINOX.
This study will test an intervention to improve patients' and their caregivers' ability to manage difficult emotions and communicate about the patient's illness. There will be two versions of the intervention used for this study: a culturally tailored version for Latinx participants refined during Phase 1 of this study, and a version of the intervention that was not culturally tailored for Latinx patients and caregivers developed in previous work. The two interventions differ in minor content areas. We will use the culturally tailored intervention for Latinx participants and the non-tailored intervention for non-Latinx participants. This culturally sensitive intervention has the potential to reduce Latino/a patient and caregiver distress and improve patient and caregiver quality of life, shared understanding of the patient's illness, and patients' and caregivers' ability to discuss, identify, and document patients' treatment preferences. The intervention is designed to minimize burden to patients, caregivers, and healthcare institutions to allow for easy integration into clinical practice.
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability, drug levels, molecular effects, and clinical activity of MRTX849 (adagrasib) in patients with advanced solid tumors that have a KRAS G12C mutation.
This study is to determine the safety of IRX-2 Regimen combined with Nivolumab in patients with recurrent metastatic solid tumors. Researchers believe that this combination will have a tolerable safety profile and will increase the response rate in comparison to Nivolumab alone.
It is a non-randomized pilot study. The allocation will be determined by patients or their immediate family members who were cooperative with physician's interpretations on the disease progression and updated information of cutting of edge treatment, the financial affordability, availability of treatment plans, possible tolerance or risks etc.The purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical efficacy and toxicity of autologous cellular immunotherapy combined with hyperthermia in abdominal and pelvic malignancies or metastases patients. Furthermore, to characterize response to different regimens, the investigators intent to explore the predictive and prognostic biomarker, as well as the changes in immune repertoire.
In this phase I feasibility study, the investigators evaluate the combination of lyso-thermosensitive liposomal doxorubicin (LTLD, ThermoDox) with local hyperthermia and cyclophosphamide (C), for the local treatment of the primary breast tumour in patients with metastatic breast cancer. When heated to 40-43 degrees Celsius (ºC), LTLD releases a very high concentration of doxorubicin locally within seconds. Hyperthermia of the primary tumour will be induced by Magnetic Resonance guided High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (MR-HIFU) on a dedicated Sonalleve MR-HIFU breast system. The investigators hypothesize that by substituting doxorubicin (A) in the AC-chemotherapy regimen for the combination of LTLD and MR-HIFU induced hyperthermia, optimal local tumour control can be achieved without compromising systemic toxicity or efficacy. This will be the first study to evaluate LTLD with MR-HIFU hyperthermia in breast cancer patients.
This clinical trial studies positron emission tomography (PET) imaging utilizing 18F-(2S,4R)4-fluoroglutamine, a glutamic acid derivative, to image patients with malignant tumor. [18F]Fluoroglutamine PET may provide additional information that help diagnose and stage cancer patients.
Recent preclinical studies suggest that combining MEK and MDM2 inhibition synergize to induce apoptosis in RAS/BRAF-mutant and TP53 wild-type CRC models. In vitro, in RKO cell lines (poorly differentiated colon carcinoma cell line resistant to single agent targeting MDM2 and MEK and BRAF inhibition), the MDM2 plus MEK inhibitor combination generated a synergistic increase in apoptotic index. In vivo, in mice harboring human RKO colon tumor xenografts the combination of MDM2 plus MEK inhibition elicited 93% decreases in tumor volume. This trial is to conduct a single-center, Phase 1 dose escalation study of trametinib combined with HDM201 (a HDM2 inhibitor) in patients with advanced/metastatic RAS/RAF mutant and TP53 wt CRC.
