Lattice Radiotherapy for Dose-Escalated Palliation of Bulky Tumors

Start date: June 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this research study is to determine if lattice radiation therapy (LRT) will provide better treatment for bulky (large) tumors than current standard of care radiotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT06389123 Recruiting - Metastatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Start date: April 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase I study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the [68Ga]Ga DOTA-5G and [177Lu]Lu DOTA-ABM-5G theranostics pair in patients with metastatic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT06363773 Not yet recruiting - Metastatic Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study to Assess the Ability of Stereotactic Radiotherapy to Restore the Efficacy of Immunotherapy in Patients With Metastatic Cancer.

RESTO-IMMUNO
Start date: June 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims at enrolling patients with solid tumors at metastatic stage, considered long responders to immunotherapy (> 6 months) and displaying disease progression. In this study, the investigator wants to evaluate specific modalities of stereotactic radiotherapy, with 3 sessions, each of 8 Gy, lasting 20 minutes and spaced 72 hours apart (Day 1, Day 4, Day 7). The radiotherapy device itself is not the subject of this study and will be used in accordance with its CE mark and indications. The objective of the study is to assess the ability of stereotactic radiotherapy to restore the lost efficacy of immunotherapy. In particular, the abscopal effect will be assessed, i.e. the action of irradiating a particular target lesion and observing an effect on other distant metastases.

Combination of Immune Checkpoint in Locally Advanced or Metastatic MSI/dMMR Esogastric Adenocarcinomas

CIME
Start date: May 15, 2024
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

CIME is a multicenter, randomised, comparative, open-label phase III study aiming to compare the survival of patients suffering from MSI-H/dMMR locally advanced or metastatic oeasogastric adenocarcinoma treated by a bi-immunotherapy (experimental arm) versus standard current treatment (FOLFOX/XELOX + nivolumab : standard arm).

Transarterial Chemoembolization (TACE) Plus Bevacizumab for Liver Metastases

Start date: April 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Trans arterial chemoembolization (TACE) has emerged as a treatment option for chemotherapy-refractory diseases in Liver metastases. By delivering chemotherapy agents directly to the tumor site, TACE can maximize local drug concentrations and reduce systemic adverse reactions. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that functions as an angiogenesis inhibitor. It works by slowing the growth of new blood vessels by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). The application of Bevacizumab during TACE has not been reported. In this study, we will evaluate the the overall survival (OS)、efficacy, and safety of the application of Bevacizumab during TACE in patients with Liver Metastases by designing an open, single-arm phase II clinical study.

NCT ID: NCT06306924 Recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

UNC Metastatic Cancer Radiation Therapy Registry

Start date: April 21, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this registry is to collect clinical data from participants attending UNC Hospitals who present with metastatic cancer and are evaluated to receive radiation therapy as part of their standard of care treatment. The goal of this study is to provide a foundation for studies designed to identify projects across the translational continuum related to metastatic cancer and radiation therapy treatment. The relevant clinical data will be linked to patient-reported outcomes (PROs) thus allowing for a unique and robust dataset. Ultimately, this registry will provide current and future studies with the ability to analyze the correlation of radiation therapy regimens with metastatic cancer outcomes.

NCT ID: NCT06275958 Not yet recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

DOSAGE Study: Upfront Dose-Reduced Chemotherapy in Older Patients With Metastatic Colorectal Cancer

DOSAGE
Start date: June 2024
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this phase III, open-label, non-inferiority randomized controlled clinical trial is compare upfront dose-reduced chemotherapy with the standard dose chemotherapy in older patients ( ≥70 years) with metastasized colorectal cancer, with regard to progression-free survival (PFS). The choice between monotherapy (a fluoropyrimidine) and doublet chemotherapy (a fluoropyrimidine with oxaliplatin) will be made for each individual patient based on expected risk of chemotherapy toxicity (according to the G8 screening). Patients classified as low risk of toxicity will be randomized between doublet chemotherapy in either full-dose, or with an upfront dose-reduction of 25%. Patients classified as high risk will be randomized between monotherapy in either full-dose or upfront dose-reduction. Primary outcome is PFS. Secondary endpoints include grade ≥3 toxicity, QoL, physical functioning, overall survival, number of treatment cycles, dose reductions, hospital admissions, cumulative received dosage and cost-effectiveness.

NCT ID: NCT06242470 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of MGC026 in Participants With Advanced Solid Tumors

Start date: March 6, 2024
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The study is designed to understand the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and preliminary antitumor activity of MGC026 in participants with relapsed or refractory, unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors The study has a dose escalation portion and a cohort expansion portion of the study. Participants will receive MGC026 by intravenous (IV) infusion. The dose of MGC026 will be assigned at the time of enrollment. Participants may receive up to 35 treatments if there are no severe side effects and as long as the cancer does not get worse. Participants will be monitored for side effects, and progression of cancer, have blood samples collected for routing laboratory work, and blood samples collected for research purposes.

NCT ID: NCT06230666 Recruiting - Metastatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Single-isocenter SBRT vs. Multiple-isocenter SBRT for Multiple Extracranial Metastases

Start date: February 19, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this randomized non-inferiority clinical trial is to investigate whether single-isocenter SBRT using one treatment plan is similarly effective as multiple-isocenter SBRT using multiple treatment plans for multiple extracranial metastases. The main question it aims to answer is: - whether 1-year freedom from local disease progression at the site of treated metastases after single-isocenter SBRT is non-inferior against multiple-isocenter SBRT at the same prescription doses. Cancer patients with multiple extracranial distant metastases will be randomly assigned and treated either with single-isocenter SBRT or multiple-isocenter SBRT.

NCT ID: NCT06215950 Recruiting - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials
