Adjuvant HIPEC to Prevent Colorectal Peritoneal Metastases in High-risk Patients

The prognosis of peritoneal metastases from colorectal cancer has recently improved with cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). Although outcomes are further improved when early stage peritoneal metastases are treated, adjuvant HIPEC has not yet been thoroughly addressed. This prospective pilot study assessed feasibility, safety and efficacy of HIPEC performed simultaneously with primary curative surgery in colorectal cancer patients with primary tumor-related risk-factors for the development of metachronous peritoneal metastases.

Contribution of the Imaging to the Expression of intégrines αvβ3 for the Characterization of Residual Masses of Non-seminoma Tumors at the End of Chemotherapy

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the contribution of the imaging to the expression of intégrines αvβ3 for the characterization of the residual masses of non-seminoma tumors at the end of chemotherapy. The investigators hope that the results of this first stage of the clinical trial come to consolidate the preclinical results obtained by the investigators team to characterizing the interest and the strong contribution of the use of a tracer resting on the expression of αvβ3 integrine for the diagnosis of simple necrosed mass at the end of the treatment of a non-seminoma tumor, so allowing to defer a surgery to about 40 % of the patients.

Sentinel Lymph Node (SLN) in Colorectal Carcinoma (CRC) With a Near-infrared (NIR)-Dye

The sentinel lymph node (SLN) procedure is a standard staging technique in several types of cancer. One of the major problems of SLN mapping in colorectal cancer is the lack of an optimal dye and technique for identification of the nodes. In this study the investigators used the Near-Infrared (NIR) dye Indocyanin Green (ICG) to identify nodes with a newly developed NIR laparoscope. The investigators compared two different injection techniques; subserosal and submucosal injection. Patients planned for a laparoscopic resection of a colorectal carcinoma without distant metastases were included. Dye was injected in the subserosa or submucosa of the bowel. Ten minutes after injection the investigators searched for fluorescent nodes with the NIR laparoscope. Fluorescent nodes were harvested and analyzed by the pathologist using H&E and additional immunohistochemistry.

Multicentre, prospective, non-controlled phase II clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of first line single agent Eribulin in patients with HER2-negative metastatic breast carcinoma previously exposed to taxanes for early stage. The primary objective of the study is to determine the median time to progression achieved with Eribulin. Other secondary objectives will be; overall response rate, clinical benefit rate, time to treatment progression, duration of response and toxicity profile.

Combining Curcumin With FOLFOX Chemotherapy in Patients With Inoperable Colorectal Cancer

Oral curcumin (complex C3, Sabinsa Corp, Utah) will be given to patients with inoperable colorectal metastases who will be commencing standard care oxaliplatin-based (FOLFOX) chemotherapy for up to 12 cycles(approximately 6 months) of treatment. Primary measurements focus on safety and tolerability. These will be recorded in real-time and report the number and severity of adverse events. Secondary measurements will include efficacy, (measured by response rate with RECIST and overall survival in months) supported by biomarker analysis.

Evaluation of the Predictive and Prognostic Value of Germ-line Polymorphisms in Patients With Metastatic Breast Cancer

This is a multicenter, non-randomized, prospective cohort study. The purpose of the study is to identify germ line genetic factors that influence the risk of metastatic breast cancer. 1500 patients will be enrolled in this study. Blood samples will be collected after informed consent and inclusion in the study. Patients will be treated and followed according to the standards of their treating center. They will be followed during at least 5 years every 6 months for 3 years then every year.

Exploration of Circulating VE-cadherin in Metastatic Colorectal Adenocarcinoma Patients Treated With Bevacizumab

It is a prospective, non-randomized, monocentric study. The purpose of the study is to assess the predictive value of VE-cadherin on the objective tumor response. Biological factors will be correlated to clinical outcome measures. 100 patients treated with bevacizumab for a metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma will be enrolled. Patients will be followed every 10 weeks until progression in spite of bevacizumab or until they stop bevacizumab because of toxicity. Bevacizumab will be administered according to investigators appreciation. Blood samples will be collected at enrollment, at second bevacizumab's administration and every 10 weeks until progression, or until patients stop bevacizumab because of toxicity or until one year at most in case that patients still receive bevacizumab.

FOLFOX/Bevacizumab/Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in Colorectal Cancer

In this Phase I/II clinical trial, the investigators seek to pilot the addition of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) to the standard front-line therapy of colorectal cancer, FOLFOX/bevacizumab. In toxicity terms, the investigators previous studies lead them to believe that a full dose (800mg) of HCQ will be well-tolerated in this setting. By starting at 600 mg, the investigators will ensure that the full dose is approached with an eye to safety, and if needed, the investigators will use the lower dose. Both doses achieve autophagy inhibition in our current studies.

Evaluation of the Safety and Efficacy of Oshadi D and Oshadi R for Cancer Treatment
