NCT ID: NCT06189820 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Role of the Fibroblast Activation Protein (FAP) as Biomarker of Fibrotic Lung Diseases

FAPIPET
Start date: March 9, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

To evaluate the effect of an anti-fibrotic treatment initiation on the fibrotic activity as assessed by FAPI PET/CT.

NCT ID: NCT05648734 Completed - Clinical trials for Post-COVID-19 Syndrome

Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Fibrotic Drugs in Post COVID-19 Pulmonary Fibrosis

Start date: March 10, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this study we aim to evaluate the radiological and functional changes in post-acute covid-19 pulmonary fibrosis patients in relation to anti-inflammatory and/or antifibrotic drugs prescribed during and after covid-19 pneumonia.

NCT ID: NCT05572346 Recruiting - Obesity Clinical Trials

Digital App for Telerehabilitation in Respiratory Diseases

Start date: October 17, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and the mid-term effects of a pulmonary rehabilitation intervention, delivered by digital App, on quality of life of patients affected by respiratory diseases. The App will include a monitored exercise training program based on most recent cardiopulmonary rehabilitation guidelines, including alerts, reminders and educational contents as well as chat and online visits with healthcare professionals to improve patient engagement.

NCT ID: NCT05516550 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for SARS-CoV-2 Infection

Study to Assess Efficacy and Safety of Treamid for Patients With Reduced Exercise Tolerance After COVID-19

Start date: August 2022
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The innovative drug Treamid is planned for use in the treatment of patients with persistent lung damage and reduced exercise tolerance exertion after COVID-19 pneumonia in a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase IIb/III clinical study to assess the efficacy and safety of Treamid during a 28-day treatment. The primary objective of the study is to prove that in the Treamid group, the proportion of patients achieving clinically significant load tolerance is statistically significantly higher than in the placebo group. The secondary objective of the study is to evaluate the safety of Treamid and achievement of clinically significant improvements in indicators for various questionnaires and spirometry data.

NCT ID: NCT05382572 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Community Registry

Start date: July 11, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) results from a diverse group of health conditions and affects the lives of patients (including those who are post lung transplant), caregivers and family members. The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Community Registry will offer an online portal where participants can self-enroll and directly contribute information about their experience with PF to be compiled into a longitudinal data set for use by researchers.

NCT ID: NCT05191381 Recruiting - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

Immune Modulation by Exosomes in COVID-19

IMECOV19
Start date: December 22, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Following whole blood stimulation with mesenchymal stem cell derived exosomes, immune phenotype, cytokine release and mRNA expression patterns from critically ill patients with COVID-19 will be determined.

NCT ID: NCT04990531 Recruiting - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Low-field Magnetic Resonance Imaging of Pediatric COVID-19

DECRYPT
Start date: August 9, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

SARS-CoV-2 (Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus type 2) is a new coronavirus and identified causative agent of COVID-19 disease. They predominantly cause mild colds but can sometimes cause severe pneumonia. The long-term consequences are still largely unexplained and misunderstood, especially in children and adolescents. The aim of this study is to assess the frequency of pulmonary skeletal changes in pediatric and adolescent patients using low-field magnetic resonance imaging (LF-MRI) in the setting of proven past SARS-CoV-2 infection.

NCT ID: NCT04274257 Completed - Autoimmune Diseases Clinical Trials

A Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Rituximab in Participants With Systemic Sclerosis

DesiReS
Start date: December 4, 2017
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates the efficacy and safety of rituximab compared with placebo in SSc patients. This study consists of a 24-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled period followed by a 24-week active drug treatment period.

NCT ID: NCT01570764 Completed - Systemic Sclerosis Clinical Trials

Cyclophosphamide Systemic Sclerosis Associated Interstitial Lung Disease

SCLEROCYC
Start date: January 14, 2013
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

By including in this study patients with significant worsening of their lung volumes and / or their DLCO (carbon monoxide diffusing capacity) in the previous year, on the basis of an open retrospective study we recently conducted, we hope to demonstrate that a strategy combining prednisone and intravenous cyclophosphamide therapy is accompanied by an increase in the frequency stabilization / improvement of lung volumes and / or DLCO of patients at 12 months of 15% in the placebo and prednisone cyclophosphamide 50% in cyclophosphamide and prednisone. We also hope to demonstrate significant decrease in the number of patients excluded for failure in the CYC arm as compared to the placebo arm.
