Filter by:This study aimed to explore underlying mechanisms of individual differences in drugs for coronary heart disease treatment and its association with adverse consequences. It will enroll approximately 4000 coronal heart disease patients aged between 18 and 80 years in mainland China and follow-up for at least 1 years. Questionnaires, anthropometric measures, laboratory tests, and biomaterials will be collected . The principal clinical outcomes of the study consist of ischemia attack , cardiac death, renal injury, and myotoxic activity.
1. to evaluate diagnostic accuracy and performance of IVUS and OCT-derived quantitative parameters to predict functional significance of stenosis defined using all the available physiologic indices. 2. to explores the association between intravascular imaging-derived plaque characteristics and invasive physiologic indices.
The overall goal is to identify trends and longitudinal associations in psychosocial, food-related, and cardiometabolic risk factors that can guide public health priorities and future research needs aimed at reducing cardiovascular-related disparities in Puerto Rico. To this end, investigators will establish 'PROSPECT: Puerto Rico Observational Study of Psychosocial, Environmental, and Chronic disease Trends', an island-wide, longitudinal population cohort of 2,000 adults (30-75 years) in PR recruited with a community-wide sampling strategy, and assessed in a network of several partner clinics across the island. The study will collect comprehensive data on multiple psychosocial, dietary, and food-related factors, CVD biological markers, and medical record data, with follow-up at 2-years, and will assess variations by urban-rural area and by timing before-after Maria.
The main objection is to investigate molecular biology of myocardial damage during cardiac surgery procedures.
Evaluation of outcomes of coronary artery bypass grafting.
Each year world-wide, 2.5 million fetuses die unexpectedly in the last half of pregnancy, 25,000 in the United States, making fetal demise ten-times more common than Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. This study will apply a novel type of non-invasive monitoring, called fetal magnetocardiography (fMCG) used thus far to successfully evaluate fetal arrhythmias, in order to discover potential hidden electrophysiologic abnormalities that could lead to fetal demise in five high-risk pregnancy conditions associated with fetal demise.
In this study, simvastatin combined with Ezeimebum was used to enhance lipid reduction, and IVUS was used to evaluate the volume and composition of coronary plaque before and after treatment. The aim is to evaluate the overall intervention effect of Ezeimebum on stable angina pectoris with diabetes mellitus on the basis of statins.
Coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG) is the golden standard for severe coronary artery disease(CAD), the current surgery strategy is mainly based on coronary angiography(CAG), but many trials of PCI have shown that visually stenosis in CAG may not have functional significance. The aim of this study is to investigate if the Quantitative Flow Ratio (QFR) can be adopted in CABG and achieve a better graft patency.
Myocardial protection is of crucial importance for surgical coronary revascularization in patients with ischaemic heart diseases. The investigators proposed loop isolation-based uploading preconditioning to protect heart from ischemic-reperfusion damage (LiuPhD) as a novel cardioprotective strategy, and applied to patients who underwent on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
The study will compare clinical outcomes of modified T-stenting with Szabo technique with T-stenting for bifurcation lesions in coronary heart diseases.
