NCT ID: NCT06178263 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

Adherence to an Exercise and Healthy Diet Program in Patients With Coronary Heart Disease Aged ≥ 60 Years

RE-Start60+
Start date: December 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of the study is to implement a multimodal lifestyle intervention over 3 months in individuals ≥ 60 years of age with coronary heart disease and to examine the adherence to this intervention program. The intervention focus on three main themes: physical activity, healthy nutrition and, if necessary, smoking. The framework is formed by a psychological component: views on ageing.

NCT ID: NCT06178133 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

Influencing Factors of the Diagnostic Accuracy of Novel Coronary Functional Evaluation Methods

Start date: December 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this study, patients were retrospectively included, univariate and multivariate analysis of factors affecting their diagnosis inconsistencies was performed, and a new diagnostic model was constructed by logistic regression.

NCT ID: NCT06172985 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

A CCTA Image Assisted Triage Software for the Assessment of Patients With Suspected Coronary Artery Disease

Start date: May 9, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this clinical trail is to evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of the CCTA image assisted triage software(DeepVessel® Cardisight, Keya Medical.) for the triage of patients with suspected coronary artery disease.

NCT ID: NCT06171698 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Congenital Heart Disease

Impedance During Cardiac Catheterization to Build a Non-Invasive Cardiac Output Algorithm

Start date: March 30, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Prospectively measure impedance during cardiac catheterization to build a cardiac output algorithm.

NCT ID: NCT06170541 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease (CHD)

CORE-COMPARE Pilot Study

Start date: April 5, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The utility of Ultra High-Resolution Computed Tomography (UHR-CT) compared to conventional CT in all-comers (i.e., a generally lower-risk population) remains uncertain but is an important area of study in order to justify wider spread implementation and use of this technology, particularly in light of reports of significantly higher radiation exposure with UHR-CT, as well as longer scan times. The availability of technology to reconstruct conventional resolution (CR) simulation images from the raw CT acquisition data acquired on the UHR-CT scanner offers a unique platform to study this question without subjecting individuals to two different scans. The primary objective of this study is to generate preliminary data in support of the hypothesis that noninvasive UHR-CT is superior to conventional resolution CT for identifying patients with obstructive CHD.

NCT ID: NCT06168994 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Role of Eplerenone in Reducing Recurrence of Atrial Fibrillation in Patient With Structural Heart Disease

Start date: February 1, 2024
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to study synergistic effect of eplerenone as Selective aldosterone receptor antagonist with amiodarone compared with amiodarone only in reducing recurrence of atrial fibrillation in patient with structural heart disease

NCT ID: NCT06168422 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

A Prospective Cohort Study of PCI Strategies for Severely Calcified Lesions of Complex Coronary Arteries in the Elderly

PSSCCE
Start date: December 25, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this observational study is to compare the prognostic outcomes of various PCI strategies in elderly patients with complex coronary calcified lesions. The patients will be classified into two groups and assigned different PCI strategies, either stenting or stenting combined with pharmacologic balloon implantation. The investigators will assess the one-year prognosis for major adverse cardiovascular events in these patients.

NCT ID: NCT06168344 Completed - Quality of Life Clinical Trials

The Effect of Web-based Training Given to Mothers of Babies With Congenital Heart Disease

Start date: February 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study was assessed the impact of a web-based education program provided to mothers of infants with congenital heart diseases on their quality of life and self-efficacy levels. The study is a mixed-method approach with a qualitative and pre-test post-test design, utilizing randomized controlled quasiexperimental type. The research was conducted with mothers of infants diagnosed with congenital heart disease who sought care at the Pediatric Cardiology Outpatient Clinic of a university hospital and were followed up. There are two groups in the study. Web-based education was provided to mothers in the intervention group (n=30). No intervention was applied to the mothers in the control group (n=30) other than the outpatient clinic routine of the hospital.

NCT ID: NCT06164730 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Heterozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia

A Study of VERVE-102 in Patients With Familial Hypercholesterolemia or Premature Coronary Artery Disease

Start date: May 2024
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

VT-10201 is an Open-label, Phase 1b, Single-ascending Dose Study That Will Evaluate the Safety of VERVE-102 Administered to Patients With Heterozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia (HeFH) or Premature Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) Who Require Additional Lowering of LDL-C. VERVE-102 Uses Base-editing Technology Designed to Disrupt the Expression of the PCSK9 Gene in the Liver and Lower Circulating PCSK9 and LDL-C. This Study is Designed to Determine the Safety and Pharmacodynamic Profile of VERVE-102 in This Patient Population.

NCT ID: NCT06164171 Recruiting - Cardiac Disease Clinical Trials

Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Simulation : a Preferred Learning Path

TEE
Start date: June 9, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) has gradually become the technique of choice for continuous functional examination of the heart despite the significant training required for its interpretation. It has proven to be the safest, fastest, and most reliable technique for diagnosing most intra- and postoperative hemodynamic problems. Indeed, the transesophageal route is particularly well adapted to the situation of intubated patients, whether in the operating room, in the outpatient department or in intensive care. It offers images that are easier to obtain and of better quality than the transthoracic route; it can be performed without interfering with surgical activity or resuscitation. However, TEE training is often poor during the DES training in anesthesia and resuscitation, reserved for the few interns who will learn in a specific department where TEE is used on a daily basis. Thus, simulation is a logical and recognized means by which technical aspects, mechanisms involved in the understanding of a situation, reasoning and decision making can be analyzed and improved. The RFE SFAR 2019 recommendations suggest the use of simulation for the learning of technical gestures in initial training in order to improve their acquisition. This study is therefore part of a technical and diagnostic improvement of a practice, which appears to be essential in several fields in anesthesia and intensive care, for a technique still not sufficiently acquired by many future practitioners.
