Filter by:This is a prospective translational research study in which tumour samples, blood samples and other biospecimens will be requested from patients with locally advanced or metastatic malignant oesophageal and gastric carcinoma. There are two parts to the study: - Part A - evaluation of serial tumour biopsies - Part B - evaluation of circulating biomarkers and other biospecimens
It is a single-center, open-lable, randomized controlled trial to prospectively investigate the effectiveness and safety of Camrelizumab combined with DOS regimen chemotherapy in neoadjuvant treatment of patients with locally advanced gastric cancer.
The purpose of this study is to test an experimental oncolytic adenovirus called DNX-2440 in patients with resectable multifocal (≥ 2 lesions) liver metastasis, who are scheduled to have curative-intent liver resection surgery. Up to 18 patients will receive two sequential intra-tumoral injections of DNX-2440 into a metastatic liver tumor prior to surgery for liver resection, to evaluate safety and biological endpoints across 3 dose levels (dose escalation). Upon conclusion of the dose-escalation phase, the selected safe and biologically appropriate dose will be administered using the same schema for an additional 12 patients with colorectal cancer liver metastasis (expansion cohort) using established biologic endpoints.
This research is being done to determine the safety and feasibility of using a type of radiation guided by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and chemotherapy to treat patients with gastric and breast cancer. The name of the radiation machine involved in this study is the MRIdian Linear Accelerator.
Implementation of a curative strategy of treatment in peritoneal carcinomatosis of gastric cancer. The goal is to get 1C level of evidence (patient died with "standard" treatment, with this treatment some of them survive) in terms of disease free survival and overall survival. Methodology: prospective, phase II, multicentric in Spain. Recruitment of 50 patients(to have 31 on treatment) in three years. This strategy is based on neoadjuvant systemic plus simultaneous intraperitoneal and intravenous chemotherapy(NIPS),to treat peritoneal disease by bi-directional approach; next step is cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC. Once patients are discharged, they will follow a systemic adjuvant chemotherapy protocol.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and overall survival of the regimen of XELOX (Xeloda and oxaliplatin combination) in the patients with relapsed and refractory gastric cancer.
To assess the usefulness of Docetaxel plus S-1 combination chemotherapy based on the antitumor effect and survival period by performing a phase I/II study of this combination in Elderly patients with inoperable or with postoperative gastric cancer.
To assess the usefulness of irinotecan plus S-1 therapy based on the antitumor effect and survival period. by performing a phase II study of this combination in patients with inoperable or with postoperative gastric cancer
This is a clinical research study of T900607-sodium to determine if it is effective and safe in treating gastric cancer and adenocarcinoma of the esophagus. Patients will be treated on a weekly basis with an intravenous injection of the study drug.
