Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the study was to examine the acute effect of self-proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) stretching on chest mobility, posterior muscle chain mobility and respiratory functions in caregivers of children with developmental delays. In the study: 1. Does self-PNF stretching have an effect on chest mobility and posterior muscle chain mobility in caregivers of children with developmental delay? 2. Does self-PNF stretching have an effect on respiratory functions in caregivers of children with developmental delays? The questions were answered.

NCT ID: NCT06466213 Recruiting - Exercise Clinical Trials

Acute Effects of Three Different Types Single Leg Exercise in Copd

COPD
Start date: February 20, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

COPD presents not only respiratory symtoms but also vascular or muscle dysfunction. Exercise training is important for aerobic performance increasing. Generally results show exercise training with both lower limb. Increaed arterial stiffness and muscle oxygenation are observed in COPD. One leg exercise result is not enough to highlight these parameters.

NCT ID: NCT06465095 Recruiting - Periodontitis Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Inflammasome Gene Polymorphisms in Periodontitis Patients

Start date: July 1, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The present study aimed to evaluate the distribution of NLRP3, AIM2, and IFI16 inflammasome gene polymorphisms in individuals with Stage III Grade B and C periodontitis and periodontally healthy individuals. 80 periodontally healthy, 80 Stage III Grade B and 80 Stage III Grade C periodontitis patients will be enrolled. Blood samples will be collected from each participants and clinical parameteres will be recorded for whole mouth. DNA isolation will be performed from all samples. The SNP regions with the numbers rs4612666, rs75985579, and rs2793845 will be detected from DNA material using Real-Time PCR device genotyping kits. Data will be analyzed using statistical tests.

NCT ID: NCT06464523 Completed - Female Teachers Clinical Trials

HPV Education, Early Diagnosis and Knowledge

Start date: September 15, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of health education given to female teachers on HPV knowledge and screening test. The population of the study consisted of all female teachers belonging to the Bucak Directorate of National Education between September 2021 and March 2022. The sample of the study consisted of 144 healthy female teachers who were registered in the institutions affiliated to the District Directorate of National Education between the specified dates, met the inclusion criteria and volunteered to participate in the study. In this study area, with the assumption that the rate of cervical cancer screening test of 70% of the women in the Healthy Life Centre after the trainings would be considered significant, the effect size d=0.18 was calculated to include at least 98 women in 3 groups at 95% power and 0.05 error level. The calculation was performed with the 'G Power 3.1.9.2' package programme. In this context, the total sample of the study was determined as 156 participants, 52 in each group.

NCT ID: NCT06464419 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Intracranial Pressure Increase

Effect of Lithotomy Position on Optic Nerve Sheath Diameter

Start date: June 10, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this study, the effect of increased venous return and increased intra-abdominal pressure on intracranial pressure in the lithotomy position was evaluated.

NCT ID: NCT06464341 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Nodal Burden and Nodal Recurrence in Patients With Isolated Tumor Cells After Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Treated With Axillary Dissection or Nodal Radiation: the OPBC-05/EUBREAST-14R/ICARO Study

ICARO
Start date: May 4, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purposes of this multicenter retrospective cohort study are to determine the residual nodal burden in patients with isolated tumor cells detected in the SLN or the clipped node after NAC and to determine oncologic outcomes in this group of patients after ALND or nodal RT or observation.

NCT ID: NCT06464250 Completed - Diabetic Foot Ulcer Clinical Trials

The Effect of Bundle Approach on Foot Care Behaviors and Diabetic Wound Healing in Patients

Start date: September 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study was planned to standardize foot care behaviors with a patient-participated care package approach, to ensure healing of existing wounds, and to evaluate the effect on foot care behaviors to prevent the development of new diabetic foot ulcers. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 97 patients, 49 patients in the care package group and 48 patients in the control group. Hypotheses of the Study H1. The foot care behaviors of patients who receive a patient-participatory care package approach to diabetic foot ulcer prevention will be higher than those of patients who do not receive a care package. H2. Patient-involved care package approach prevents the development of new diabetic foot ulcers. H3. Patient-involved care package approach provides healing of existing diabetic ulcers.

NCT ID: NCT06464211 Completed - Anxiety Clinical Trials

The Effect of Family Counseling Program on Anxiety and Conscious Awareness Levels

not
Start date: January 2, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study investigates the effect of a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-based Family Counseling Program on the anxiety and mindfulness levels of university students experiencing future anxiety. The research highlights the significance of university education in career development, noting the associated biopsychosocial challenges faced by students. These challenges often manifest as future anxiety-a condition characterized by fear, uncertainty, and stress about future prospects, which can impact students' academic performance, social relationships, and overall mental health. Literature reveals that interventions like CBT, mindfulness practices, and family counseling are effective in managing anxiety and enhancing emotional resilience. The program integrates these approaches to provide dual-layer support, addressing individual thought patterns and family dynamics, thus potentially reducing anxiety and increasing mindfulness among students. This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the program's effectiveness in a controlled setting, contributing to both national and international literature on mental health interventions.

NCT ID: NCT06463990 Active, not recruiting - Hyperlipidemias Clinical Trials

Influence of TyG Index and TG/HDL-C Ratio on Fetal Macrosomia

Start date: January 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Metabolic disorders that can occur during pregnancy, in particular disorders of lipid metabolism and insulin resistance, can have a detrimental effect on pregnancy and the fetus. The triglyceride level and other lipids increase slightly during pregnancy. This increase has a positive effect on the development of the fetus. However, an excessive increase in lipid levels can cause some metabolic disorders such as gestational diabetes and increase feto-maternal morbidity/mortality. While some existing studies have shown that elevated triglyceride levels can cause fetal macrosomia, others have found no correlation between these two variables. The ratio of triglycerides to HDL is a widely used marker for lipid disorders. In addition, the triglyceride-glucose index is also an index used to detect insulin resistance.
