There are about 2143 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Slovakia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The objective of this clinical investigation is to assess the safety and performance of the SonoClear Acoustic Coupling Fluid (ACF). The performance will be assessed by analysis of the contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) and assessment of image quality by using the Surgeon Image Rating (SIR) Scale. This is a prospective, multi-centre single-arm study where the performance of SonoClear ACF relative to routinely used acoustic coupling fluid is investigated by each patient being their own control. Patients with the diagnosis of HGG and LGG at up to 10 sites will be included. Additionally, safety data are collected at 30 days and 6 months post-procedure.
The general objective of this study is to: A. To identify novel plasmatic biomarkers associated with prevalent/incident atrial fibrillation in patients with high risk for AF and stroke. B. To assess predictive ability of novel plasmatic biomarkers (especially apelin and miRNAs) on prevalent/incident atrial fibrillation in patients with high risk for AF and stroke. C. To validate predictive models from previous studies based on comorbidities, age, sex, BMI, NT-proBNP, FGF-23, IGF-1 and IGFBP-1 on prevalent/incident AF in patients with high risk for AF and stroke.
This study is a multicenter cross-sectional survey-based study conducted in four European countries (Czech Republic, Germany, Slovak Republic, and Turkey). An online questionnaire will be utilized to collect data from volunteer subjects following the STROBE reporting guidelines of cross-sectional studies.

Numerous in vitro and animal studies as well as growing number of clinical studies support the important role of microbiome in carcinogenesis and cancer treatment. Detection of changes in patients´ microbiome following hematopoietic cell transplantation/CAR-T cell therapy and correlations with adverse transplant outcomes, mainly infectious complications, acute and chronic GvHD, disease recurrence etc. could serve as predictive markers of immune recovery and treatment response.
Determine the efficacy of lumbar medial branch neurotomy by radiofrequency and cryoablation in patients with chronic low back pain
The purpose of the study is to test the efficacy, safety and tolerability of brivaracetam monotherapy in study participants 2 to 25 years of age inclusive with childhood absence epilepsy (CAE) or juvenile absence epilepsy (JAE).
Prospective, open-label, single-arm, multicentre Phase 3 study to evaluate the pharmacokinetics, efficacy, tolerability, and safety of subcutaneous human immunoglobulin (Newnorm) in patients with primary immunodeficiency diseases
This is an open-label trial consisting of two sub-studies to be conducted sequentially with the purpose of evaluating the safety and suitability of a two feeding systems in pre-term infants (one containing HMOs and one without HMOs).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and the safety of two doses of CHF6001 (Tanimilast) as add-on to maintenance triple therapy in the target patient population.
