NCT ID: NCT05542134 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Platelet Refractoriness

Platelet Agregation in Patients on ECMO

Start date: January 17, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

An observational study in which investigators will observe platelet inhibition in patients on VA ECMO acorrding to treatment with P2Y12 inhibitor.

NCT ID: NCT05524636 Completed - Healthy Clinical Trials

Effects of Peripheral Magnetic Stimulation

Start date: July 15, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Interventional study of the effectiveness of peripheral magnetic stimulation of the abdominal wall muscles in healthy individuals.

NCT ID: NCT05521893 Completed - Clinical trials for Gestational Diabetes

Effectiveness of Telemedicine Care Replacing Standard Care in Gestational Diabetes

Start date: March 12, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a a single-centre, parallel, randomized controlled trial in women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Women are randomized to routine monthly prenatal clinic care (standard care group) or a group sending daily glucose readings via an application installed on a smartphone and monthly individual videoconferences replacing in-person visits (telemedicine group). The overall aim is to compare the effectiveness of the combine synchronous and asynchronous telemedicine care with the standard care in women with GDM.

NCT ID: NCT05511896 Completed - Clinical trials for Occupational Exposure

Effects of a 60-min Repeated Trunk Flexion Protocol on Trunk Neuromuscular Properties.

Start date: September 1, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

An interventional study on the effects of repeated trunk flexion exposure on trunk neuromuscular properties.

NCT ID: NCT05503550 No longer available - Clinical trials for Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Pre-Approval Access Single Patient Request for Talquetamab in Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Start date: n/a
Phase:
Study type: Expanded Access

The purpose of this pre-approval access program is to provide talquetamab for the treatment of participants with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma.

NCT ID: NCT05490966 Completed - Muscle Tightness Clinical Trials

Effects of Isometric Muscle Fatigue on Trunk Muscle Stiffness

Start date: September 10, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Interventional study of the effects of a trunk extensor muscles fatigue protocol on trunk extensors stiffness.

NCT ID: NCT05490407 Completed - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Role of the ATP7A Transporter in Ovarian Cancer

ATHOC
Start date: March 17, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Ovarian cancer has the highest mortality rate among all gynecologic cancers, with most patients presenting with advanced stage tumors. About a third of patients do not respond to primary platinum-based chemotherapy treatment, and over time up to 80 % of others develop chemoresistance, rendering recurrent disease incurable. Despite all the studies published in the literature, it has not been proven that the number of cells with expressed ATP7A in certain tumors increases independently of the therapy. In addition, no study has been conducted on a sample of patients with confirmed serous histology of ovarian cancer only. The aim of the study is to demonstrate increased expression of the ATP7A transporter in cells resistant to carboplatin.

NCT ID: NCT05485467 Completed - Clinical trials for Heart Transplant Failure

The Role of CD34 + Stem Cells and Biomarkers in the Development of CAV in HTX Patients

Start date: June 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Coronary allograft vasculopathy represents one of the major limiting factors of long-term survival in heart transplant recipients. While extensively researched, the underlying mechanisms of coronary allograft vasculopathy (CAV) after heart transplantation remain incompletely understood. As CD34+ cells represent one of the key determinants of coronary vascular homeostasis we investigated the potential association between CAV and CD34+ cell count in heart transplant recipients.

NCT ID: NCT05482438 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Evaluation of Polyethylene Wear After Failed TKA

RATE AND DISTRIBUTION OF WEAR OF EXPLANTED POLYETHYLENE INSERTS

Start date: February 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of the study is to measure and compare the wear rates of retrieved PEI after failed TKA with respect to various causes for revision surgery, implant size, surgical and patient factors as well as to identify a characteristic linear wear distribution pattern of the articular surface in most common causes of TKA failure. Consequently, we want to contribute to a better understanding of wear mechanisms and identify a possible additional factor for increased PEI wear in TKA.

NCT ID: NCT05477654 Not yet recruiting - Parkinson Disease Clinical Trials

Motor-cognitive Dual-task in Healthy Older Adults and Early Parkinson's Disease Patients

TwinBrainPD
Start date: August 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Neuromuscular dysfunction is common in older adults and even more pronounced in neurodegenerative diseases. In Parkinson's disease (PD), a complex set of factors often prevents effective performance of activities of daily living that require intact and simultaneous performance of motor and cognitive tasks. In the current study we aim at employing the Mobile Brain/Body Imaging approach (MoBI) to gain further insides of neuromuscular biomarkers revealing the decrements of older adults with an early PD. The cross-sectional study will be evaluated through the multifactorial mixed-measure design.
