There are about 9702 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Poland. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of the study is to evaluate whether the therapy with chloroquine phosphate (CQ, in combination with telemedical approach) in addition to standard care is effective and safe in reducing composite endpoint of COVID-19-related hospitalization or all cause death, in ambulatory patients with SARS-SoV-2 infection at particular risk of serious complications due to advanced age and/or comorbid conditions (in comparison with subjects not treated with CQ but receiving standard care and supervised telemedically).
Assessment of types and intensity of unpleasant experiences pre-, intra-, and postoperatively in the patients undergoing cataract surgery, using especially designed questionnaire. Strategic aim: formulation of algorithm and modification of perioperative approach to patient qualified to undergo phacoemulsification procedure.
International, Multicenter, Double-Blind, Placebo and Active Control Efficacy and Safety Study to Evaluate Verinurad combined with Allopurinol in Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction
The aim of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of PAD treatment by revascularization with new cobalt-chromium sirolimus stent implantation, which is expandable on balloon PERS (CoCr SES) compared to cobalt-chromium balloon-expandable (Neptun C) stent (CoCr BMS) in patients with symptomatic iliac arteries disease requiring revascularization.
The study aims to evaluate two, orally administered, investigational agents - PF-06865571 (DGAT2 inhibitor) and the coadministration of PF-06865571 with PF-05221304 (ACC inhibitor). This study is specifically designed to evaluate the effect of a range of doses of DGAT2i alone, and DGAT2i + ACCi, on resolution of NASH or improvement in liver fibrosis, as assessed histologically (via liver biopsy).
The purpose of the study is to assess the safety of BMS-986259 in stable participants hospitalized for acute decompensated heart failure.
Plaque psoriasis is a chronic relapsing inflammatory skin disease that is characterized by keratinocyte hyper-proliferation and epidermal hyperplasia. Standard treatment for psoriasis generally requires long-term use of topical therapies, psoralen and ultraviolet A (PUVA), ultraviolet B (UVB) and/or systemic immunosuppressant therapies to achieve and maintain adequate disease control. This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind study conducted in participants with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. The study will evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics profile of 960 milligram (mg) GSK2982772 administered as a once daily modified release (MR) formulation. Participants will be randomized in a 2:1 ratio to receive either 960 mg GSK2982772 or placebo for 12 weeks. The duration of the study, including Screening and follow-up, will be approximately 21 weeks for each participant.
This study evaluates the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) therapy in the treatment of depression and anxiety symptoms in patients undergoing second stage of cardiac rehabilitation. Half of the study group will receive VR therapy (VR group) as an addition to cardiologically monitored physical training. The other half of the group (control group) will receive Schultz Autogenic Training as a standard supplement to cardiological training
This trial will be conducted to demonstrate the efficacy and safety of vadadustat compared to darbepoetin alfa for the maintenance treatment of anemia in hemodialysis participants after conversion from current erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA) therapy.
The purpose of this study is to try to find the best dose of the new drug BAY 2433334 to give to participants and to look at how well BAY 2433334 works on top of a dual antiplatelet therapy (acetylsalicylic acid +/- clopidogrel) in patients following a recent heart attack (myocardial infarction) that happens when a blood vessel in the heart suddenly becomes blocked. BAY 2433334, works by blocking a step of the blood clotting process in our body and thins the blood and is a so called oral FXIa inhibitor.
