There are about 9702 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Poland. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
CALAVI will investigate the safety, efficacy and pharmacokinetics of acalabrutinib together with Best Supportive Care in the treatment of COVID-19.
This is a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, active-controlled, multi-center study to assess the efficacy and safety of abrocitinib 200 mg (2 x 100 mg tablets) administered orally QD compared with dupilumab 300 mg administered by subcutaneous injection every other week (as per label guidelines) in adult participants on background topical therapy, with moderate to severe AD. The treatment duration is 26 weeks. A total of approximately 600 participants will be enrolled from approximately 220 sites globally. Approximately 600 participants will be randomly assigned to study intervention. There are primary efficacy assessments at Week 2 and Week 4, and a key secondary efficacy assessment at Week 16. Efficacy and safety endpoints will be assessed throughout the entire study. Exploratory endpoints related to hand eczema efficacy will be assessed throughout the study.
This is a prospective randomized three brachial, single-blinded, placebo-controlled trial, which aims at assessing the impact of the gluteal muscle taping with a dynamic tape and a non-elastic tape on the activation of the gluteal muscles and the distribution of the lower limb load in healthy people. The study participants will be randomly classified into the following groups: A - dynamic kinesiology taping, B - rigid tape, C - placebo group (sham). Patients will be evaluated three times - before applying the tapes, 30 minutes after applying the tapes and 48 hours after applying the tapes.
The purpose of this study is to provide evidence that a therapy of Ulcerative Colitis (UC) disease adjusted on tight monitoring of non-invasive parameters, such as clinical symptoms and faecal calprotectin (FC) (substance that is released when intestines are inflamed and that can be measured in faeces), can provide significantly higher benefit for the participants in terms of disease control and quality of life (QoL) improvement, compared to a symptom-based approach only.
This is a Phase 2 randomized, double-blind, parallel group, vehicle-controlled study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of topical ATx201 OINTMENT in adolescents and adults with mild to moderate Atopic Dermatitis
The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of flexibly dosed esketamine nasal spray compared with quetiapine extended-release (XR), both in combination with a continuing selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor/serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SSRI/SNRI), in achieving remission in participants who have treatment-resistant major depressive disorder (MDD) with a current moderate to severe depressive episode.
Data regarding the efficacy of the percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with new-designed drug-eluting stent (new-DES) vs. bare metal stent (BMS) of saphenous vein grafts (SVG) stenosis is scarce. The primary objective was to compare one-year clinical outcomes of PCI in stenosis of SVG using new-DES vs. BMS in a real-world population. We carried out a multi-center registry comparing new-DES with BMS in all consecutive patients undergoing PCI of SVG. The primary composite endpoint was major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) at 1 year.
The primary objective of this extension study is to assess the maintenance of efficacy of linzagolix administered orally once daily for up to an additional 6 months (for up to 12 months of treatment in total) in women who have already completed 6 months of linzagolix treatment at a dose of 75 mg alone or of 200 mg in combination with ABT (E2 1 mg / NETA 0.5 mg), in the management of moderate to severe endometriosis-associated pain (EAP) in women with surgically confirmed endometriosis.
Osteoarthritis is a degenerative, chronic, and progressive joint disease considered as the most common joint disorder worldwide. In healthy joints, there is a continuous process of natural breakdown and repair of cartilage. This process becomes disrupted in OA, leading to degeneration and loss of articular cartilage, along with other joint changes, including subchondral bone remodeling, osteophyte formation, thickening of the capsule and sometimes inflammation of the synovia. JTA-004 is a plasma protein solution supplemented with HA and clonidine developed as a single IA injection for the treatment of knee OA. Local administration of JTA-004 into the joint cavity is intended to relieve chronic pain in subjects suffering from knee OA and discomfort associated with the IA administration. The JTA-004 Phase III study is a placebo and active-controlled, randomized, double-blind study to evaluate the potential of a single, intra-articular injection of JTA-004 to reduce osteoarthritic pain in the knee at 3 months compared to placebo or active comparator. The study is expected to enrol 742 patients with mild to moderate symptomatic knee osteoarthritis in 22 centres in 6 European countries and Hong Kong SAR.
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of AKST4290 in combination with aflibercept injections in subjects with newly diagnosed neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD).
