The study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Supernova stent retriever device, developed by Gravity Medical Technology, for treating acute ischemic stroke. The device is used to remove blood clots and restore blood flow to the brain .
Background: Implants are commonly used as a treatment choice for partially dentate or in edentulous patients. Currently, no specific biomarker to assess the bone status around the dental implants of healthy patients has been reported to further evaluate bone deposition, resorption and stability. CTX (C-terminal telopeptide) is a known specific biomarker for bone resorption. CTX levels evaluation in serum and urine of patients with bisphosphonates treatment has already been reported. However, its levels in saliva of healthy patients with dental implants has not been investigated, so far. Objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate salivary CTX levels in dental implants with early and delayed loading and to compare it with the values of mechanical stability test (Periotest). Methods: Patients coming to OPD of Oral Surgery department of Dow International Dental College (DIDC) and are willing for placement of implant in the posterior molar area of mandible will be enrolled in the study. Informed consent will be taken from each patient for participation in the study. Dental implants placement will be performed according to the standard protocols. All patients will be assessed for implant stability on the day of surgery, at 1 month, 2 month and 3 months by Periotest assessment. Also, saliva will be collected and stored from same patients. Later, ELISA will be performed for expressional analysis of CTX.
A postural perturbation refers to unexpected change in conditions that upsets the body's harmony and displaces its posture. These perturbations can be sensory in nature, such as vestibular perturbations resulting from electrical stimulation, visual perturbations caused by a moving room or graphical images, or somatosensory perturbations caused by muscle vibrations. The body's reactions to these sensory perturbations may be based on the perception of instability rather than actual imbalance. Trunk control plays a vital role in various aspects of daily life, including balance, walking, and overall functional abilities. Children with cerebral palsy (CP), who experience limitations in their ability to move, often expend more energy compared to their healthy peers.
Methodology: Fresh AVG will be prepared. It will be placed as intracanal medicament after cleaning and shaping in patients with asymptomatic periapical lesions in group A while in group B (control group) no intracanal medicament will be placed. Patient will be recalled for one week and three week follow ups and in case of no clinical signs and symptoms endodontic procedure will be completed. In case of pain normal routine procedure will be followed.

Chronic bronchitis is a non-allergic, inflammatory disease that is developed because of inflamed bronchial walls, and, is characterized by persistent cough with sputum for 3 months for 2 consecutive years at least. It affects males more than females at the age of 40 years, with increasing incidence as the age progresses. Chronic bronchitis is associated with multiple health-related issues like; dyspnea, reduced lung volumes and capacities, poor quality of life, and physical inactivity. Its clinical manifestations are coped with using the pharmaceutical approach, surgical maneuvers, and pulmonary rehabilitation. In the context of pulmonary rehabilitation, pursed lip breathing and stacked breathing are evident to deal with symptoms of chronic bronchitis and make the individuals lead a physically active and healthy life. In this research study, patients will be enrolled with strict adherence to eligibility criteria and then allocated into two groups by using the convenience sampling technique after having their written informed consent form. The participants will either receive pursed lip breathing technique or a stacked breathing technique, which will be followed by baseline treatment at every session. Both groups will be then subjected to receive intervention that will take a duration of 40 minutes every session, 30 minutes of baseline treatment, and 10 minutes of intervention, for the period of 2 weeks with the frequency of performing the intervention thrice per day. The outcomes will be evaluated by using a modified Borg scale for dyspnea, a peak expiratory flow meter for lung volumes, a pulse oximeter for oxygenation, and EuroQol; 5D-5L for quality of life. Data will be recorded at pre-treatment, on the 1st day, and post-treatment, on the 14th day. The recorded data will be then entered and analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package of Social Sciences) version 23.
This triple-blind, randomized clinical trial was conducted at the department of Operative dentistry. A total of 60 participants were recruited and were randomly distributed into two groups A and B. After informed consent, restorative treatment was performed. In group A, adhesive with nanoparticles was used for composite restoration while in group B, adhesive without nanoparticles was utilized. Post-operative sensitivity was recorded using VAS score.

Urinary incontinence, characterized by involuntary loss of urine (International Continence Society), is a serious social and health issue whose incidence is increasing. Urinary incontinence refers to a condition in which urine is inadvertently excreted from the bladder to the urethra, usually due to a disability or an incapacity to control the bladder and urethral sphincter. Urinary incontinence is a common complaint in women, which can have an important influence on the quality of her life. Its prevalence is between 10% and 40%, and the most common form is stress urinary incontinence. Age, body mass index, genetic factors, pregnancy and delivery, and a history of hysterectomy, smoking, race, constipation and menopause have been considered as its risk factors.
