There are about 1254 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Peru. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of the study is to assess if the study medication (molnupiravir, MK-4482) will prevent symptomatic coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in adults who live with someone with confirmed COVID-19 infection. This is a phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study; half of the study participants will receive molnupiravir twice daily by mouth and the other half will receive a placebo. The primary objectives of the study are to determine if molnupiravir prevents symptomatic COVID-19 disease and to evaluate its safety and tolerability. All participants who develop COVID-19 during the study are still eligible for any COVID-19 treatment recommended by their doctor.
This study aims to evaluate the safety and tolerability of clesrovimab compared to palivizumab as assessed by the proportion of participants experiencing adverse events (AEs).
The goal of this clinical study is to test how well the study drug, lenacapavir (LEN), works in preventing the risk of HIV.
This is a Phase III, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre, international study assessing the efficacy and safety of maintenance olaparib compared with placebo in BRCAwt participants with Stage III to IV high grade serous or endometroid ovarian cancer (including fallopian tube cancer or primary peritoneal cancer) who are in complete or partial response following treatment with standard first-line platinum-based chemotherapy.
The purpose of this study is evaluating the efficacy and safety of SC antifrolumab in adult patients with moderate -to-severe SLE despite receiving standard therapy
This study is to evaluate antiviral activity, efficacy, safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) of GSK3810109A in HIV-1 infected treatment naive adults. Participants will receive a single dose of GSK3810109A administered either intravenously (IV) or subcutaneously (SC). The study includes a screening phase, a randomized monotherapy phase and a standard of care follow-up phase.
This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of crovalimab in adult and adolescent participants with aHUS.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of Sodium Zirconium Cyclosilicate (SZC) on arrhythmia-related cardiovascular outcomes in participants on chronic hemodialysis with recurrent hyperkalemia.
A randomized, placebo-controlled study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of paltusotine (also known as CRN00808; an orally administered nonpeptide somatostatin agonist) in subjects with acromegaly previously treated with somatostatin receptor ligand (SRL) based treatment regimens.
Although several therapeutic agents have been suggested for the treatment of the disease caused by the Coronavirus of the year 2019 (COVID-19), no antiviral has yet demonstrated consistent efficacy. This is an observational study comparing Tenofovir-DF (disoproxil fumarate) (TDF) with Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) in the treatment of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 with evidence of pulmonary compromise and with supplemental oxygen required.
