Study of ADXS11-001 in Participants With High Risk Locally Advanced Cervical Cancer

Locally advanced cervical cancer at higher risk for recurrence (HRLACC) following concurrent chemotherapy and radiation therapy. This is a group of participants with a significant unmet need. The estimated probability of disease recurrence or death within 4 years of diagnosis is 50% and the prognosis is very grave for those who experience a recurrence. The purpose of the study was to compare the disease free survival (DFS) of ADXS11-001 to placebo administered following cisplatin-based combination chemotherapy and radiation (CCRT) with curative intent in participants with HRLACC.

Helicobacter Pylori Genome Project (HpGP)

Helicobacter pylori is a common bacterial infection. It can lead to severe stomach problems, including stomach cancer. Researchers want to look at samples of the bacteria. These H. pylori strains will be taken from chronically infected people. They want to identify the genetic and epigenetic differences in H. pylori strains. This could help predict which people who get infected with the bacteria will get stomach cancer. This could lead to the cancer being detected earlier. It could also mean less people get stomach cancer. Objectives: To study genetic variations of H. pylori strains based on samples from chronically infected people. To identify the features of strains that might lead to severe stomach problems or stomach cancer. Eligibility: People ages 30-70 years who need an upper endoscopy or who were recently diagnosed with stomach cancer Design: Participants will be screened by the doctor who does their procedure and a study nurse. Participants who have endoscopy will have ~6 biopsies removed. These are tissue samples. They are about the size of a grain of rice. Participants will allow the study team to access reports from their stomach exam. Participants with stomach cancer will donate some of the tissue that will be removed during their clinical care. They will allow the study team to access reports of their surgery. They will also allow them to access the microscope slides of their stomach.

Efficacy and Safety Study of Mongersen (GED-0301) for the Treatment of Subjects With Active Crohn's Disease

The purpose of study is to test the effects of an experimental medication GED-0301 (mongersen) in patients who have active Crohn's disease. The study will test GED-0301 compared to placebo for 52 weeks. The study treatment is blinded which means that patients and the study doctor will not know which treatment has been assigned. Patients in this study will be allowed treatment with stable doses of oral aminosalicylates, oral corticosteroids, immunosupressants and antibiotics for the treatment of Crohn's disease. After 12 weeks in the study until the end of the study, patients who do not have an improvement in their Crohns disease symptoms will have the option to enter a long term active treatment study. Participants who discontinued the study anytime or completed the study at Week 52 were then observed for an additional 4 weeks.

Study of Recombinant Factor VIIa Fusion Protein (rVIIa-FP, CSL689) for On-demand Treatment of Bleeding Episodes in Patients With Hemophilia A or B With Inhibitors

The purpose of this study is to investigate the pharmacokinetics (PK), efficacy, and safety of rVIIa-FP (CSL689). The study will enroll approximately 54 male subjects, 12 to 65 years of age, with hemophilia types A or B who have developed inhibitors to FVIII or FIX. The study consists of 3 sequential parts (Parts 1, 2, 3): The purpose of Part 1 (PK part) is to evaluate the PK of a single treatment of CSL689 (low dose or high dose) and compare with the PK of a single treatment of Eptacog alfa (low dose or high dose). In Part 1, CSL689 and Eptacog alfa will be given by the doctor at the study center. The purpose of Part 2 (Dose-evaluation part) is to identify which of the 2 tested dose levels of CSL689 shows the best efficacy and safety in stopping acute bleeding events (this dose will be called the "population best dose"). The purpose of the final Part 3 (Repeated-dose part) is to confirm the efficacy and safety of the "population best dose" identified in Part 2. In Parts 2 and 3, subjects will self-administer a specified number of CSL689 infusions at home on-demand (ie, when a bleeding event occurs), will keep an electronic diary, and will visit the center at monthly intervals. This study is expected to last for up to 16 months for the subjects participating in all 3 parts, and up to 9 months for the subjects participating in Part 3 only.
