NCT ID: NCT06403631 Recruiting - Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Trials

Supporting Mental Health in Daily Life After the Diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis

MindFlowMS
Start date: November 6, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The overall goal of this observational study is to learn about the psychological resources of mindfulness and flow experience available to persons newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). The primary study aim will be to analyze the relation of flow and mindfulness with mental health among individuals who received an MS diagnosis within the last year. Secondary aims will be to analyze the daily activities preferentially associated with flow, and to evaluate possible changes in daily flow retrieval. Participants will answer questionnaires measuring flow, mindfulness, positive mental health, anxiety and depression at project start and 6 months later.

NCT ID: NCT06403254 Recruiting - Infection in Bone Clinical Trials

Evaluation of VSS Antibiotic Prophylaxis in Prosthetic Surgery (MRSA)

MRSA
Start date: September 20, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

based on international guide lines, antibiotic prophylaxis in Orthoaedic major surgery has to be done with a Cephalosporin 1st generation (e.g. Cefazolin 1 g 30' before surgery). Since more than 10 years ago the investigators started evaluatinf infections in such a surgery, well demosntrating a level below 1% and, more important, a responsability of MRSA. considering Cephalosporin 1st generation useful but not determinat in such a surgery, investigators consider the use of a Glycopepide (Vancocyn 1 g in Very short. The primary outcome is to evaluate the validity of such proposal, performing a study of prevalence.

NCT ID: NCT06402838 Recruiting - Alzheimer's Disease Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Biomarker Effects of RO7269162 in Participants at Risk for or at the Prodromal Stage of Alzheimer's Disease (AD)

Start date: May 2, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial is recruiting people who either are at risk of AD - have build-up of beta-amyloid, but have no clinical symptoms, or with a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment. People can take part if they have a certain level of plaques (beta-amyloid) in the brain, shown by a positron emission tomography (PET) scan, a medical imaging technique in which tracers are injected to visualize specific pathological processes in the brain. People who take part in this clinical trial (participants) will be given RO7269162 OR placebo for up to about 1 and a half years. The clinical trial team will see them every 3 weeks in the first 3 months and then every 6 weeks until the end of the trial. These hospital visits will include checks to see how the participant responds to the treatment and any side effects they may have. The total time of participation in the clinical trial will be 90 weeks.

NCT ID: NCT06402695 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Neuroendocrine Tumors

Observational Study on GEP-and Pulm-NET Treated at FPG

ETNA-FPG
Start date: September 15, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Observational ambispective monocentric study on the clinical, laboratory, pathological and molecular characteristics of patients suffering from gastroenteropancreatic tract and pulmonary neuroendocrine tumors and their prognostic and predictive value.

NCT ID: NCT06400680 Recruiting - Gait Clinical Trials

Gait Spine Functional Evaluation Protocol

Start date: May 18, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to develop and validate of a new protocol for multifactorial functional assessment of the kinematics of spinal and total body movements during walking by means of the optoelectronic motion analysis system in healthy and scoliosis subjects. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Is feasibility developing a protocol to assess the spine kinematic during walking? - Is the intra and inter operator reliability of the developed protocol acceptable? - Is the usability of the developed protocol acceptable? During data acquisition a trained therapist placed reflective markers on the skin of the participants in the selected body landmarks. The participants will be asked to perform five trial of walking barefoot on a 6 meters distance at a self-selected normal-pace speed, for each session.

NCT ID: NCT06400667 Recruiting - Child Clinical Trials

Functional Assessment Protocol for the Upper Limb for Pediatric Age

Start date: May 18, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

During data acquisition a trained therapist placed reflective markers on the skin of the participants in the selected body landmarks. The participants will be asked to perform five trial for each upper limb of a determinate functional task for each session.

NCT ID: NCT06400654 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Neuroendocrine Carcinoma

PrognostIc and Predictive Factors in Unresectable Locally Advanced NEC and MANEC

NIRVANA
Start date: July 5, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Extra-pulmonary (EP) poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs) represent a rare and aggressive category of neoplasms. Mixed adeno-neuroendocrine carcinomas (MANEC) are a group of rare neoplasms composed by a neuroendocrine (NE) and a non-neuroendocrine (non-NE) component, each representing at least the 30% of the neoplasm. Considering their rarity, low prevalence and poor prognosis a clear clinical, morphological and biomolecular characterization of these neoplasms has been prevented and a clinical approach universally shared is still lacking.

NCT ID: NCT06399393 Recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

A Study to Compare the Efficacy and Safety of Idecabtagene Vicleucel With Lenalidomide Maintenance Therapy Versus Lenalidomide Maintenance Therapy Alone in Adult Participants With Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma Who Have Suboptimal Response After Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation

KarMMa-9
Start date: October 16, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of ide-cel with lenalidomide (LEN) maintenance to that of LEN maintenance alone in adult participants with Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma (NDMM) who have achieved a suboptimal response post autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT).

NCT ID: NCT06398743 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

First CORRECT Study of Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) Detection in Colorectal Cancer

The CORRECT - MRD I study will prospectively enroll patients who have undergone complete surgical resection for stage II or III colorectal cancer. Patients will be followed for up to 5 years for recurrence.

NCT ID: NCT06397859 Recruiting - Hepatitis D Clinical Trials

Effectiveness and Clinical Outcomes of Long-term Bulevirtide Monotherapy in Patients With HDV-related Compensated Cirrhosis

SAVE-D
Start date: May 6, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Retrospective and prospective, pharmacological, multicentre, non-profit observational study. Consecutive patients with HDV-related compensated cirrhosis starting Bulevirtide 2 mg/day from September 2019 to December 2025 will be enrolled in the study. Aim of this study is to investigate virological and clinical effectiveness of Bulevirtide 2 mg/day in patients with HDV-related compensated cirrhosis in the real-life setting. Primary endpoint of the study is the rate of virological response, defined as at least 2 Log decline or undetectable HDV RNA compared to baseline, at week 96 of treatment.
