Polyetherketoneketone and Metal Framework for Management of Maxillectomy Cases: Across Over Study

Start date: July 4, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Prosthetic rehabilitation of acquired maxillary defects represents a challenging mission for both the prosthodontist and psychologically traumatized patients. 3D-printed Crowns Versus Zirconia Crowns for Primary Molars

Start date: July 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the present study is to compare between 3D-printed crowns and prefabricated zirconia crowns for restoring pulpally-treated primary molars regarding the following aspects: 1. In vivo: Evaluate the clinical outcome of 3D printed crowns in comparison to prefabricated zirconia crowns in pulpally-treated primary molars as well as parent satisfaction. 2. In vitro: Comparative analysis of fracture resistance and marginal gap of 3D printed crowns and prefabricated zirconia crowns

NCT ID: NCT06060301 Active, not recruiting - Oral Lichen Planus Clinical Trials

Topical Sulfasalazine and Oral Lichen Planus

Start date: March 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the mucosal membrane. T-cell mediated damage against the mucosal epithelial cells is implicated in the pathogenesis of OLP, although the exact mechanism is unknown. Sulfasalazine is extensively used in inflammatory bowel disease and is effective on immune-related inflammatory disease such as Crohn's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and Behcet's disease. In spite of its effectiveness, the anti-inflammatory mechanism is not clearly understood.

Correlation of Pelvic Asymmetry and Joint Movement During Gait in Children With Cerebral Palsy

Start date: February 12, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

the study's particular goals were to determine whether excessive hip, knee, and ankle displacement at first contact during locomotion correlates with pelvic rotation.

NCT ID: NCT06051383 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

Outcome of Conducting Self-management Intervention on Severity of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms

Start date: June 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of conducting self-management interventions on severity of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Research hypothesis: To fulfill the aim of this study, the following research hypothesis was formulated: Patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia will suffer less lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) after conducting self-management intervention than before conducting.
