NCT ID: NCT04776148 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Colorectal Neoplasms

Study of Lenvatinib (MK-7902/E7080) in Combination With Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) Versus Standard of Care in Participants With Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (MK-7902-017/E7080-G000-325/LEAP-017)

Start date: March 29, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and efficacy of lenvatinib (MK-7902/E7080) in combination with pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in participants with metastatic colorectal cancer. The study will also compare lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab with the standard of care treatment of regorafenib and TAS-102 (trifluridine and tipiracil hydrochloride). The primary study hypothesis is that lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab is superior to standard of care with respect to overall survival.

NCT ID: NCT04774198 Active, not recruiting - Pancreas Cancer Clinical Trials

Perioperative Immune Function and Clinical Complications in Pancreaduodenectomy

Start date: February 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Perioperative immunologic signatures can predict the risk of postoperative complications. The results will be puplished as two smanuscripts. The manuscript will focus on preoperative immunologisk data, the second manuscript will include both pre- and postoperative data.

NCT ID: NCT04772625 Active, not recruiting - Knee Osteoarthritis Clinical Trials

Failure Analysis of Patellofemoral Arthroplasty

Start date: January 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of the retrospective cohort study is 1) to determine preoperative risk factors for revision af patellofemoral arthroplasty, and 2) to provide a detailed description of indications for revision after patellofemoral arthroplasty. All patients operated with patellofemoral arthroplasty in Denmark from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2015, will be included in the cohort.

NCT ID: NCT04771442 Active, not recruiting - Penile Diseases Clinical Trials

Stem Cell Treatment of Peyronie´s Disease.

Start date: September 9, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

Purpose of the project is to investigate if a single injection of autologous stromal vascular fraction into and around plaque is a safe and suitable treatment. Twentythree men > 18 years with Peyronie´s Disease in the chronic phase will be recruited. The operative same-day procedure will be performed in general anaesthesia by a plastic surgeon. Before the patient wake, local anaesthesia is put around the penis. Processed stem cells are injected into the plaque/fibrosis subcutaneously. There will be a follow up at 1, 3, 6, 12 months. It is a pilot study with no randomisation. The group will be compared to a historical control group.

NCT ID: NCT04770779 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Transfusion-dependent Beta-Thalassemia

A Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of Mitapivat in Participants With Transfusion-Dependent Alpha- or Beta-Thalassemia (α- or β-TDT)

ENERGIZE-T
Start date: November 30, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary purpose of this study is to compare the effect of mitapivat versus placebo on transfusion burden in participants with transfusion-dependent alpha- or beta-thalassemia (TDT).

NCT ID: NCT04770753 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Transfusion-dependent Beta-Thalassemia

A Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of Mitapivat in Participants With Non-Transfusion-Dependent Alpha- or Beta-Thalassemia (α- or β-NTDT)

ENERGIZE
Start date: November 8, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary purpose of this study is to compare the effect of mitapivat versus placebo on anemia in participants with alpha- or beta-non-transfusion dependent thalassemia (NTDT).

NCT ID: NCT04767373 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection

Efficacy and Safety of Clesrovimab (MK-1654) in Infants (MK-1654-004)

Start date: April 7, 2021
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objectives of this phase 2b/3 double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study are to evaluate the efficacy and safety of clesrovimab in healthy pre-term and full-term infants. It is hypothesized that clesrovimab will reduce the incidence of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)-associated medically attended lower respiratory infection (MALRI) from Days 1 through 150 postdose compared to placebo.

NCT ID: NCT04766125 Active, not recruiting - Heart Conditions Clinical Trials

Psychological Factors in Cardiac Surgery

Start date: February 18, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study investigates the effect of adverse event information on adverse event occurrence in patients undergoing elective cardiac surgery in a two-armed, randomized study. One group will receive standard information about adverse events; the second group will receive a standardised elaboration of the standard information. Hypothesis: Elaborated information about adverse events will increase adverse event occurrence, mediated by expectations and anxiety, and moderated by coping style.

NCT ID: NCT04762758 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease

Phase III Trial Assessing the Efficacy and Safety of PXT3003 in CMT1A Patients

PREMIER
Start date: March 30, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study will consist of 2 periods: Double-blind Treatment and Open-Label Extension(OLE) Period. -Double-blind Treatment Period - This will be randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled part of the study which will be conducted in parallel groups, ie,1 group receiving the active treatment (PXT3003) and the other group receiving placebo. Primary endpoint of the study will be assessed at Month 15. -Open-label Extension (OLE) Period - All subjects completing Double-blind Treatment Period will be given an opportunity to enter the OLE Period of the study and receive the active treatment (PXT3003). The duration of the OLE Period will be based on Sponsor discretion, ie, Sponsor intends to keep the study open until the study drug PXT3003 is commercially available. During this period, the long-term safety and efficacy of PXT3003 will be assessed as an exploratory objective. Double-blind Treatment Period Objectives: Primary: To evaluate the efficacy of treatment with PXT3003 (a fixed-dose combination of [RS]-baclofen, naltrexone hydrochloride [HCl], and D-sorbitol) compared to placebo in subjects with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 1A (CMT1A). Secondary: To evaluate the safety and tolerability of PXT3003 treatment in subjects with CMT1A. Exploratory: To characterize the relationship between plasma biomarkers and response to PXT3003 treatment. OLE Period Objective: Exploratory: To evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of PXT3003.
