NCT ID: NCT06107179 Recruiting - Ulcerative Colitis Clinical Trials

Monitoring of Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Using Multispectral Optoacoustic Tomography

Start date: January 24, 2024
Phase:
Study type: Observational

In this clinical trial, the intestinal wall of pediatric patients with Crohns disease and Ulcerative Colitis will be assessed with multispectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT) to characterize the optoacoustic signal of the intestinal wall and to monitor disease activity. The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the optoacoustic signal in the intestinal wall of children with inflammatory bowel diseases. The main questions it aims to answer are: - How does the optoacoustic signal in children with inflammatory bowel diseases change over time? - How does the optoacoustic signal in children with inflammatory bowel diseases change when they receive therapy? Participants will be examined with multispectral optoacoustic tomography.

NCT ID: NCT06107010 Recruiting - Stroke, Acute Clinical Trials

Effects of Atalante Exoskeleton on Gait Recovery in Non- or Poorly Ambulatory Patients With Hemiparesis in the Acute/Subacute Phase (Month 1 to 4)

EarlyExo
Start date: June 12, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The present clinical investigation - EarlyExo, is an interventional, international, multicentric, prospective, single-blinded randomized controlled trial. This clinical investigation is designed to test the hypothesis that early and intense introduction of walking sessions assisted by the Atalante exoskeleton, in a sample of hemiparetic patients with still non or poor ambulatory capacities (FAC 0 or 1) between one- and four-months post stroke, would result in a better recovery of functional walking compared to a control group only receiving conventional therapy. Improved recovery will be measured through the proportion of patients reaching a FAC score of 4 or higher at the end of the intervention period. The tested hypothesis is that this proportion will be higher in the Exo group. The duration of the intervention period in both groups is 6 weeks. - For the Exo group: 3 sessions per week (i.e., 18 one-hour sessions) with the Atalante device and 2 sessions per week (i.e., 12 one-hour sessions) of conventional therapy. - For the Control group: 5 sessions per week of conventional therapy (i.e., 30 one-hour sessions). The study will include 66 patients (33 in each arm) and takes place in two French centers, two German centers and one Spanish center.

NCT ID: NCT06106997 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Brain Tumor, Primary

Clinical Feasibility of Brain Radiotherapy Using Synthetic CTs in an MRI-only Workflow

Start date: January 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this observational study is to show the feasibility of an MRI-only workflow in brain radiotherapy. The main question it aims to answer is: - Is an MRI-only workflow based on deep learning sCTs feasible in clinical routine? Participants will be treated as in clinical routine, but treatment planning will be based on sCTs, that are generated from MRI images. The dosimetrical equivalence to the standard CT based workflow will be tested at several points in the study.

NCT ID: NCT06106945 Recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

AZD0305 as Monotherapy or in Combination With Anticancer Agents in Participants With Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma

Start date: December 5, 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase I/II, modular, open-label, multicenter, dose escalation, and dose expansion/optimization study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, PK, immunogenicity, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary efficacy of AZD0305 in participants with RRMM.

NCT ID: NCT06105853 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Alcohol Use Disorder

Neurobehavioral Profiles of Adaptive Stress Responses in Individuals With Alcohol Use Disorder

A03
Start date: December 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this observational study is to investigate longitudinal stress response profiles and adaptive versus non-adaptive stress responses in alcohol use disorder. The main questions the projects aims to answer are: What are the neurobehavioral underpinnings of adaptive stress responses and resilience to repeated stress exposure with regards to: - alcohol craving? - alcohol use? - their modulation by prior stress exposure, social interactions, coping strategies and individual health behavior? Participants will: - be exposed to an established experimental stress-induction protocol, the Trier Social Stress Test - be exposed to their favorite drink in a bar lab environment - be assessed using fMRI to determine their neural alcohol cue reactivity, response inhibition, and emotion processing - conduct an ambulatory phase to assess stressors, alcohol craving, substance use and details on social interactions, health behavior and coping strategies using ecological momentary assessment tools.

NCT ID: NCT06105450 Not yet recruiting - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Respiratory Muscle Assesment in COVID-patients Without Hospitalization

RMA-COVID-19
Start date: December 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Fatigue and exercise intolerance after survived COVID-19-infection might be related to weakness of the respiratory muscles. The aim of the project is to measure respiratory muscle function and strength in our respiratory physiology laboratory in patients who were not hospitalized during the acute COVID-19-infection but still complain of different persistent symptoms including exertional dyspnea and fatigue.

NCT ID: NCT06105190 Recruiting - Cataract Clinical Trials

Clinical Study to Evaluate Clinical Outcomes of LuxSmart IOL as Compared With LuxGood IOL

Start date: June 21, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study is a multicentric, prospective, randomised, controlled, post-market clinical follow up (PMCF) study to investigate safety, visual outcomes and contrast sensitivity after bilateral implantation of either LuxSmart IOLs (study group) or LuxGood IOLs (control group).

NCT ID: NCT06104930 Recruiting - Meningioma Clinical Trials

Plasma Extracellular Vesicles in Meningioma Patients

MOLI
Start date: November 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

While surgical resection remains the primary treatment approach for symptomatic or growing meningiomas, radiotherapy represents an auspicious alternative in patients with meningiomas not safely amenable to surgery. Biopsies are often omitted in light of potential postoperative neurological deficits, resulting in a lack of histological grading and (molecular) risk stratification. In this prospective explorative biomarker study, extracellular vesicles in the bloodstream will be investigated in patients with macroscopic meningiomas to identify a biomarker for molecular risk stratification and disease monitoring.
