There are about 1645 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Czech Republic. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Alirocumab (SAR236553/REGN727) is a fully human monoclonal antibody that binds PCSK9 (proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9). Primary Objective of the study: To evaluate the effect of alirocumab on low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels after 24 weeks of treatment in comparison with placebo. Secondary Objectives: - To evaluate the effect of alirocumab in comparison with placebo on LDL-C at other time points - To evaluate the effects of alirocumab on other lipid parameters - To evaluate the safety and tolerability of alirocumab
The purpose of this study is to learn if BMS-477118 (Saxagliptin) as part of a triple combination therapy can improve (decrease) hemoglobin A1c in patients with type 2 diabetes after 24 weeks of treatment compared to a 2 drug oral antidiabetic therapy. The safety of this treatment will also be studied.
Following the findings of the clinical trials in drug development, this global non-interventional cohort field study will investigate rivaroxaban under clinical practice conditions in comparison with current standard of care for patients with acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The main goal is to analyze long-term safety in the use of rivaroxaban in the treatment of acute DVT in routine clinical practice.
This study is a prospective, interventional, open-label, multi-center early access program for the use of Ra-223 Cl2 in HRPC/CRPC (Hormone refractory prostate cancer / Castrate resistant prostate cancer) patients diagnosed with bone metastasis and to collect additional short and long term safety data on the product.
To assess whether adding LCL161 to weekly paclitaxel enhances the efficacy of paclitaxel in women with triple negative breast cancer whose tumors are positive for a defined pattern of gene expression
This study compared the efficacy and safety of NVA237 with tiotropium in patients with moderate to severe COPD. Tiotropium belongs to the same drug class as NVA237.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and cholesterol lowering effects of MPSK3169A when given as subcutaneous (SC) injections over a 24-week period to patients with a high risk of cardiovascular events and LDL-c levels well above goal.
The purpose of the study is to compare efficacy, complications and safety of the standard method of Combined (superficial and deep) cervical plexus block (SDCPB) with Ultrasound guided Medial Cervical plexus block technique (MCPB). Hypothesis: Ultrasound assisted MCPB is safer than SDCPB with similar efficacy.
The study is intended to test efficacy, safety and tolerability of two doses of YM178 against placebo and tolterodine to treat patients with symptoms of over active bladder.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the pharmacokinetic (what the body does to the drug) parameters of telaprevir are altered in patients with moderate hepatic impairment, compared to the pharmacokinetic parameters in patients with normal liver function, and measure the relative unbound plasma concentrations of telaprevir.
