NCT ID: NCT05818995 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Kidney Disease

Therapeutic Drug Use for CKD Patients

Start date: July 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Chronic kidney disease (CKD), characterized as renal dysfunction, is recognized as a major public health problem with high morbidity and mortality worldwide. This study aimed to analyze the common drug use and combinations of different stages and types of CKD patients. The study is a multicenter retrospective study involving three hospitals. Investigators reviewed and analyzed all patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022. Chronic kidney disease was defined as eGFR less than 60 mL/min per 1·73 m(2) or the presence of albuminuria. The study selected seven types of drugs based on hospital electronic medical record data, including β Receptor blockers, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor blockers, angiotensin II receptors, DPP-4 inhibitors, GLP-1 receptor agonists, SGLT2 inhibitors, and calcium channel blockers. Chi-square test, Mann-Whitney Wilcoxon test, and Kruskal Wallis test will be used for statistical analysis. The main purpose of this study is to provide evidence for promoting rational drug use in CKD patients by describing the drug use. The secondary purpose of the study is to explore the efficacy, safety and economy of SGLT-2 inhibitors in diabetes nephropathy (DN).

NCT ID: NCT05818033 Active, not recruiting - Myopia Clinical Trials

Safety and Effectiveness of CARE1.02 Spectacle Lens in Myopia Control

Start date: April 25, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

China is a major country in myopia, with the highest number of teenagers suffering from myopia. Controlling the progression of myopia and the related complications caused by axial elongation have clinical significance and social value. Currently. There is a lack of researches on the impact of specially designed myopia control spectacle lens in adolescents aged 12 and above. Therefore, The researchers plan to conduct a randomized controlled trial among myopia adolescents aged 12-17 in middle and high schools in Guangzhou, to test and verify the safety and effectiveness of CARE1.02 on myopia control compared with single-vision spectacle lens.

NCT ID: NCT05816499 Active, not recruiting - NSCLC Stage IV Clinical Trials

Cadonilimab in Patients (Pts) With Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)

AK104IIT018
Start date: February 16, 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase Ib/II trial studies how well cadonilimab combined with anlotinib and docetaxel work in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer that is stage IV or has come back. Cadonilimab, a PD-1/CTLA-4 bispecific antibody, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Anlotinib can regulate tumor microenvironment. Docetaxel was used in standard of care chemotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer, work to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving cadonilimab, anlotinib and docetaxel together may work better in treating patients with non-small lung cancer compared to standard of care.
