NCT ID: NCT02367040 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Lymphoma,Non-Hodgkin

Copanlisib and Rituximab in Relapsed Indolent B-cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (iNHL)

CHRONOS-3
Start date: August 3, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether copanlisib in combination with rituximab is superior to placebo in combination with rituximab in prolonging progression free survival (PFS) in patients with relapsed iNHL who have received one or more lines of treatment, including rituximab and who either had a treatment-free interval of ≥ 12 months after completion of the last rituximab-containing treatment, or who are unwilling to receive chemotherapy/for whom chemotherapy is contraindicated on reason of age, comorbidities, and/or residual toxicity.

NCT ID: NCT02362503 Active, not recruiting - HIV Infections Clinical Trials

Attachment Inhibitor Comparison in Heavily Treatment Experienced Patients

Start date: February 23, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the BMS Attachment Inhibitor (BMS-663068) is effective in the treatment of heavily treatment experienced HIV-1 patients with multi-drug resistance.

NCT ID: NCT02303821 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)

Study of Carfilzomib in Combination With Induction Chemotherapy in Children With Relapsed or Refractory Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Start date: February 16, 2015
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of Phase 1b of this study is to: - Asses the safety, tolerability and activity of carfilzomib, alone and in combination with induction chemotherapy, in children with relapsed or refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). - Determine the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and to recommend a phase 2 dose of carfilzomib in combination with induction chemotherapy. The purpose of Phase 2 of this study is to compare the rate of complete remission (CR) of carfilzomib in combination with vincristine, dexamethasone, PEG asparaginase, daunorubicin (VXLD) at the end of induction therapy to an appropriate external control.

NCT ID: NCT02283736 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Chronic Periodontitis

Efficacy of Oral Probiotic Administration in Patients With Chronic Periodontitis

probiotic
Start date: June 2014
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this randomized placebo- controlled clinical trial is to evaluate the effects of Lactobacillus rhamnosus SP1- containing probiotic tablets as an adjunct to scaling and root planning (SRP). Material and methods: Thirty six chronic periodontitis patients will be recruited and monitored clinically, immunologically and microbiologically at baseline, 3 and 6 months after therapy. All patients will receive scaling and root planning and randomly will be assigned over an experimental (SRP + probiotic, n=18) or control (SRP + placebo, n=18) group. The tablets will be used once per day during 3 months.

NCT ID: NCT02277444 Active, not recruiting - Arthritis, Juvenile Clinical Trials

A Study to Evaluate the Pharmacokinetics, Efficacy and Safety of Intravenous Golimumab in Pediatric Participants With Active Polyarticular Course Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis Despite Methotrexate Therapy

GO-VIVA
Start date: December 17, 2014
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (the study of the way a drug enters and leaves the blood and tissues over time) of golimumab administered intravenously (IV) to pediatric participants with polyarticular (affects 5 or more joints) juvenile (an onset before age 16) idiopathic (of unknown cause) arthritis (joint pain) (pJIA) manifested by greater than or equal to (>=) 5 joints with active arthritis despite methotrexate (MTX) therapy for >= 2 months.

NCT ID: NCT02231749 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma

Nivolumab Combined With Ipilimumab Versus Sunitinib in Previously Untreated Advanced or Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma (CheckMate 214)

Start date: October 16, 2014
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to compare the objective response rate, progression free survival and the overall survival of Nivolumab combined with Ipilimumab to Sunitinib monotherapy in patients with previously untreated Renal Cell Cancer.

NCT ID: NCT02188355 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

Prospective, Single-arm, Multi Centre Observations Ultimaster Des Registry

e-Ultimaster
Start date: June 2014
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The e-Ultimaster will further validate the safety and efficacy of Ultimaster DES system in unselected patients representing everyday clinical practice. Also the study will assess the impact of non-compliance with dual antiplatelet therapy, one month after stent implementation (frequently observed in every day clinical practice), on stent thrombosis.

NCT ID: NCT02167490 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Early Stage Breast Carcinoma

Sentinel Node Vs Observation After Axillary Ultra-souND

SOUND
Start date: January 2012
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The hypothesis of this trial are that: - avoiding axillary surgery does not worsen the outcome of patients with small breast cancer the absence of the pathological information on the risk of recurrence given by nodal status is not worsening outcome of these patients - pre-operative imaging of the axilla can identify patients with clinically relevant nodal burden. The aims of this prospective randomized study are: - to verify whether, in presence of a negative preoperative axillary assessment, SLN can be spared - to verify whether, in presence of a negative preoperative axillary assessment, the decision on adjuvant medical treatment can be taken according only to the biology of the tumour without the prognostic information achieved by SLNB on the nodal status - to verify whether, in presence of a negative preoperative axillary assessment, the patients' quality of life can be improved by a less invasive surgical procedure.

NCT ID: NCT02117414 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Implantable Defibrillator

Confirmatory Clinical Trial of the Evera MRI System for Conditionally-safe MRI Access

The purpose of the Evera MRI™ study is to confirm safety and efficacy of the Evera MRI ICD (Implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) System in the clinical MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) environment when subjects receive MRI scans without positioning restrictions (MRI scans may occur anywhere on the body).

NCT ID: NCT02075840 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

A Study Comparing Alectinib With Crizotinib in Treatment-Naive Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase-Positive Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Participants

ALEX
Start date: August 19, 2014
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This randomized, active controlled, multicenter phase III open-label study is designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of alectinib compared with crizotinib treatment in participants with treatment-naive anaplastic lymphoma kinase-positive (ALK-positive) advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Participants will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive either alectinib, 600 milligrams (mg) orally twice daily (BID), or crizotinib, 250 mg orally BID. Participants will receive treatment until disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, withdrawal of consent, or death. The study is expected to last approximately 144 months.
