A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of BOTOX (Botulinum Toxin Type A) Injections for the Change of Masseter Muscle Prominence in Adult Participants

The masseter muscle is one of the muscles in the lower face used for chewing. Prominence of the masseter muscle can appear as a widened and square lower face shape, which is an aesthetic concern for individuals who prefer a narrower and more ovoid lower face shape. Treatments are available for masseter muscle prominice (MMP), but researchers are looking for new non-surgical treatments. This study will assess adverse events and effectiveness of BOTOX in adult participants with MMP. BOTOX is being investigated for the treatment of MMP. Participants are placed in 1 of 2 groups, called treatment arms. Each group receives a different treatment. There is 1 in 4 chance that participants will be assigned to placebo. Around 248 adult participants with MMP will be enrolled in the study at approximately 30 sites in Europe. Participants will receive either BOTOX or Placebo administered as 6 intramuscular injections to the masseter on Day 1. Participants who are eligible for retreatment will be given BOTOX on Day 180 and will be followed for up to 6 months. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.

The study will look at how well CagriSema helps people lower their blood sugar and body weight. CagriSema is a new weekly medicine that combines two medicines called semaglutide and cagrilintide. CagriSema will be compared to the two medicines semaglutide and cagrilintide, when they are taken alone. CagriSema will also be compared to a "dummy" medicine without any active ingredient. The study will be done in participants who have type 2 diabetes. Participants will take the study medicine together with the current diabetes medicine (metformin with or without an SGLT2 inhibitor).

The purpose of this Phase III study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tozorakimab administered subcutaneously (SC) in adult participants with symptomatic COPD with a history of ≥ 2 moderate or ≥ 1 severe exacerbations of COPD in the 12 months prior to enrolment. Participants should be receiving optimised treatment with inhaled maintenance therapy (ICS/LABA/LAMA triple therapy, or dual therapy if triple is not considered appropriate) throughout at least the last 3 months prior to enrolment.

A Pilot Comparative Bioavailability Study of Levodopa Administered Via Levodopa Cyclops™ Relative to INBRIJA®

Patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) are commonly treated with a combination of levodopa and a decarboxylase inhibitor (DCI). However, many PD patients experience motor fluctuations (OFF episodes), even with their regular levodopa/DCI treatment. This unmet medical need was addressed by the approval of INBRIJA®, an orally inhaled product, for producing therapeutic relief during the OFF episodes. INBRIJA® is a capsule-based inhaler system and in order to administer the full dose of levodopa, the patients need to inhale the contents of two capsules. In order to administer the full dose of levodopa, patients need to inhale the contents of two capsules. Since the INBRIJA® device is a standalone and reusable unit, the patients have to load the capsule prior to inhalation several times a day during the OFF episodes (except early-morning OFF) to get relief. Also, the INBRIJA® device is repeatedly used by PD patients and therefore needs to be properly cleaned to avoid contamination. PureIMS is developing a more user-friendly alternative called Levodopa Cyclops™, a pre-filled drug-device combination of levodopa inhalation powder for use with the Cyclops™ dry powder inhaler. Due to the nature of the Cyclops™, it offers PD patients greater ease and convenience in use. Moreover, the device's moderate to high resistance to airflow and minimal use of excipients suggests minimal cough episodes during oral inhalation. The current study is planned in order to determine the dose at which comparative bioavailability of Levodopa Cyclops™ will be reached compared to INBRIJA®.

This is a Phase III, multicentre, randomised, double-blinded, placebo-controlled, parallel group study to evaluate the safety, tolerability and effect of 1 or 2 mg baxdrostat versus placebo, administered once daily (QD) orally, on the reduction of systolic blood pressure in approximately 720 participants aged ≥ 18 years with hypertension, despite a stable regimen of 2 antihypertensive agents at baseline, one of which is a diuretic (uncontrolled hypertension); or ≥ 3 antihypertensive agents at baseline, one of which is a diuretic (treatment-resistant hypertension).
