NCT ID: NCT05705440 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infections

A Follow-up Study to Describe the Safety of Study Participants Who Received RSVPreF3 Maternal Vaccination (Any Dose) or Controls From Previous RSV MAT Studies During Any Pregnancy Conceived Post Vaccination/Control

Start date: February 7, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this follow-up study is to describe the safety in subsequent pregnancies in participants who were previously administered the RSVPreF3 maternal vaccine or control during any prior RSV MAT study. The study participants enrolled in this follow-up study received RSVPreF3 maternal vaccination (any dose) or controls during the following prior RSV MAT studies: RSV MAT-001 (NCT03674177), RSV MAT-004 (NCT04126213), RSV MAT-010 (NCT05045144), RSV MAT-011 (NCT04138056), RSV MAT-009 (NCT04605159), RSV MAT-012 (NCT04980391) and RSV MAT-039 (NCT05169905). No intervention will be administered in this study. The exposure was the intervention (either RSVPreF3 vaccine or control) received by the study participants in the above-mentioned prior RSV MAT studies.

NCT ID: NCT05703620 Recruiting - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

REducing Sympathetic Activity Through Ultrasound-based Renal deneRvation in Excessive Cardiovascular Risk populaTions.

Start date: October 8, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The is a non-randomized pilot trial, open-label evaluation of the physiologic response of native kidney denervation using the Paradise denervation system in CKD, End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), and Heart failure (HF)

NCT ID: NCT05702034 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Ischemic Stroke; Ischemic Attack, Transient

A Study of Milvexian in Participants After an Acute Ischemic Stroke or High-Risk Transient Ischemic Attack- LIBREXIA-STROKE

LIBREXIA-STROK
Start date: February 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether milvexian compared to placebo reduce the risk of recurrent ischemic stroke.

NCT ID: NCT05698277 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Congenital Heart Defect

Automated Fetal Cardiac Function in Babies Affected by Heart Diseases

Start date: May 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this international multicentre prospective observational cohort study with a nested case-control study is to test some automated fetal heart functional parameters in healthy babies compared to those affected by a congenital heart condition. The main questions it aims to answer are: - If there is a significant difference between the two populations of infants - Whether these parameters could significantly improve the predictive value of actual cardiovascular profile score to predict hydrops Participants will be offered two automated cardiac function assessments between 27+6 and 29+6 gestational weeks and between 34+6 and 36+6 weeks of gestation. Functional parameters will be compared between the two study groups and evaluated over time.

NCT ID: NCT05697770 Recruiting - Shock Clinical Trials

SODium BICarbonate for Metabolic Acidosis in the ICU

SODa-BIC
Start date: April 26, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This trial aims to assess if, among adults in the ICU with metabolic acidosis, an infusion of sodium bicarbonate diluted in 5% dextrose, compared with an infusion of 5% dextrose, reduces Major Adverse Kidney Events within 30 days of randomization.

NCT ID: NCT05696626 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Metastatic Breast Cancer

Evaluation of Lasofoxifene Combined With Abemaciclib Compared With Fulvestrant Combined With Abemaciclib in Locally Advanced or Metastatic ER+/HER2- Breast Cancer With an ESR1 Mutation

ELAINEIII
Start date: October 31, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to assess the efficacy, safety and tolerability of the combination of lasofoxifene and abemaciclib compared to fulvestrant and abemaciclib for the treatment of pre- and postmenopausal women and men who have previously received ribociclib or palbociclib-based treatment and have locally advanced or metastatic estrogen receptor positive (ER+)/human epidermal growth factor 2 negative (HER2-) breast cancer with an estrogen receptor 1 (ESR1) mutation. The main question the study aims to answer is: • To compare the efficacy of the combination of lasofoxifene and abemaciclib with that of fulvestrant and abemaciclib Participants will receive either receive 5 mg/d of oral lasofoxifene plus oral abemaciclib 150 mg twice a day or the combination of fulvestrant 500 mg intramuscular (IM) on Days 1, 15, and 29 and then once monthly thereafter plus oral abemaciclib 150 mg twice a day.

NCT ID: NCT05687955 Recruiting - Hip Dysplasia Clinical Trials

Exercise Rehabilitation for Hip-related Pain and Dysfunction in Student Circus Arts Performers

Start date: March 28, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Hip injuries are reported to account for 71% and 29% of all injuries reported in female and male performers, respectively, at the National Institute of Circus Arts. There are no reports on hip pathology in circus performers, nor are there any reported exercise interventions for hip pain in circus performers. This study aims to: To assess the effect of an exercise rehabilitation program on patient-reported outcome measures, hip strength and range of movement, and functional assessments in circus arts students with clinically and radiologically diagnosed hip pain-related disorders. Participants will undertake a 12-week strength exercise protocol that has been specifically designed to focus on hip rehabilitation appropriate for circus performance. Expected outcome: Improvements in patient reported outcome measure (PROM) scores and an increase in function, strength and hip range of movement in people with hip pain
