There are about 10460 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Australia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The purpose of this study was to assess the safety, tolerability, and preliminary anti-tumor activity of experimental medication NZV930 alone and when combined with PDR001 and/or NIR178, in patients with advanced cancers
Evaluate the safety and tolerability of AMG 427 in adult subjects with relapsed/refractory AML. Estimate the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and / or a biologically optimal dose (eg, recommended phase 2 dose [RP2D]).
The objective of this trial is to assess the efficacy and safety of CNM-Au8 as a remyelinating treatment for vision-impairing MS lesions in participants who have chronic vision impairment as a result of Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. The primary endpoint is to assess the efficacy and safety of CNM-Au8 as a remyelinating therapy in patients with stable RMS. The secondary endpoint is Change in Functional Composite Responder Analysis Score from Baseline to Week 24.
The aim of this trial was to investigate the efficacy and safety of intravenous neridronic acid in subjects with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). The trial consisted of an Enrollment Period lasting up to 60 days, Treatment Period A consisting of 4 infusions (neridronic acid or placebo) over 10 days, and a Follow-up Period 1 until Week 26. At Week 26, participants not meeting the pre-specified criteria to continue into Treatment Period B continued in Follow-up Period 2 until Week 52. Participants meeting the pre-specified criteria entered the open-label Treatment Period B with 4 additional infusions (neridronic acid) over 10 days and follow-up visits until Week 52.
Primary Objective: To determine the effect of venglustat on the rate of total kidney volume (TKV) growth (Stage 1) and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) decline in participants at risk of rapidly progressive Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD) (Stage 2). Secondary Objectives: - To determine the effect of venglustat on the rate of renal function decline (Stage 1) and on the rate of TKV growth (Stage 2). - To evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) of venglustat in ADPKD participants (Stages 1 and 2). - To determine the effect of venglustat on pain and fatigue, based on participant reported diary (Stages 1 and 2). - Safety/tolerability objectives: - To characterize the safety profile of venglustat (Stages 1 and 2). - To evaluate the effect of venglustat on mood using Beck Depression Inventory II (BDI-II) (Stages 1 and 2). - To evaluate the effect of venglustat on the lens by ophthalmological examination (Stages 1 and 2).
Primary Objective: To compare the effect of sotagliflozin to placebo on the total occurrences of cardiovascular (CV) death, hospitalization for heart failure (HHF), and urgent visit for heart failure (HF) in hemodynamically stable participants after admission for worsening heart failure (WHF) Secondary Objectives: To compare the effects of sotagliflozin to placebo on: - The total occurrences of HHF and urgent visit for HF - The occurrence of CV death - The occurrence of all-cause mortality - The total occurrences of CV death, HHF, urgent visit for HF, non-fatal myocardial infarction (MI), and non-fatal stroke - Change in Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire-12(KCCQ-12) score - Change in estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)
A study to evaluate the safety and tolerability of nivolumab or nivolumab Plus BMS-986205 with or without BCG in BCG-Unresponsive non-muscle invasive Bladder Cancer.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of MK-1697. There are 2 parts in this study: dose escalation to determine the recommended phase 2 dose (RP2D) and confirm the RP2D (Part A) and cohort expansion to determine preliminary efficacy in participants with colorectal cancer (CRC) or head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC) (Part B). No formal hypothesis testing will be done in this study.
This trial is designed to evaluate QPI-1002 versus placebo for the prevention of Major Adverse Kidney Events (MAKE) in subjects at high risk for acute kidney injury following cardiac surgery. Half of the participants will receive QPI-1002 while the other half will receive placebo.
A Phase III study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of CPI-613® (devimistat) in combination with High Dose Cytarabine and Mitoxantrone in comparison with high dose Cytarabine and Mitoxantrone and control sub-groups: combination of Mitoxantrone, Etoposide and Cytarabine (MEC) and combination of Fludarabine, Cytarabine, and Filgrastim (FLAG) in older patients with relapsed/refractory Acute Myeloid Leukemia. CPI-613® (devimistat) targets the altered energy metabolism and processes for production of ATP and essential bio-intermediates unique to and characteristic of most cancer cell types. The addition of CPI-613® (devimistat) to high dose cytarabine and mitoxantrone (CHAM) will improve the complete remission (CR) rate in patients 50 years or older with relapsed or refractory AML when compared to HAM alone or other control sub groups.
