There are about 6915 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Austria. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Dose Finding and Safety Study of Ibrutinib in Pediatric Subjects with Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease (cGVHD)
This is a non-interventional, multi-country, multi-centre, multiple cohort prospective study, with retrospective collection of prior medical/treatment history data from medical records, designed to assess the real-world outcomes and safety of atezolizumab for indications in the existing label in the real world setting of routine clinical practice.
This Phase 3 clinical study compares the efficacy and safety of elacestrant to the standard of care (SoC) options of fulvestrant or an aromatase inhibitor (AI) in women and men with breast cancer whose disease has advanced on at least one endocrine therapy including a CDK4/6 inhibitor in combination with fulvestrant or an aromatase inhibitor (AI) .
Observation of the clinical use of the Emprint Microwave Ablation System for the ablation of Liver Metastases of Colorectal Adenocarcinoma.
This study aims to describe sex specific differences of the hemodialysis population in Austria, to quantify sex specific differences in treatment and outcomes in hospitalized patients with chronic kidney disease and to examine decision making by doctors and patients with regards to hemodialysis initiation. To adequately serve the needs of these research questions, the study is divided into 3 parts (sub-studies). 1. Description and analysis of sex-specific differences in renal replacement therapy in Austria. 2. Description and analysis of the competing risks of death versus renal replacement therapy initiation in the chronic kidney disease population by sex. 3. Analysis of sex differences in renal replacement therapy initiation decisions, emphasizing patient perception and socio-economic differences.
This is a randomized, active-controlled, open-label study of pembrolizumab (Pembro) given prior to surgery and pembrolizumab in combination with standard of care radiotherapy (with or without cisplatin), as post-surgical therapy in treatment naïve participants with newly diagnosed Stage III/IVA, resectable, locoregionally advanced, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (LA-HNSCC). Efficacy outcomes will be stratified by programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) combined positive score (CPS) status. The primary hypothesis is that pembrolizumab given before surgery and after surgery in combination with radiotherapy (with or without cisplatin) improves event-free survival compared to radiotherapy (with or without cisplatin) given after surgery alone.
To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the FlowTriever System for use in the removal of emboli from the pulmonary arteries in the treatment of acute pulmonary embolism (PE). The use of the device will be assessed in a real-world population, with eligibility criteria that closely approximate its use in clinical practice. Up to 300 additional patients with anticoagulation treatment as the initial planned primary treatment strategy for intermediate risk PE will also be evaluated (US only).
This Phase 3 study evaluates the safety and efficacy of cabozantinib in combination with atezolizumab versus the standard of care sorafenib in adults with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who have not received previous systemic anticancer therapy. A single-agent cabozantinib arm will be enrolled in which subjects receive single agent cabozantinib in order to determine its contribution to the overall safety and efficacy of the combination with atezolizumab.

This is a Phase III randomised, double-blind, multi-centre study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of durvalumab in combination with standard of care platinum based chemotherapy and bevacizumab followed by maintenance durvalumab and bevacizumab or durvalumab, bevacizumab and olaparib in patients with newly diagnosed advanced ovarian cancer.
