Filter by:The trial is a single centre, retrospective cohort, non-interventional study to be conducted in the department of cardiology, Chinese PLA General Hospital, Beijing, China. To evaluate the link between mean perioperative clinical heart rate and short-term composite outcomes during PCI among local CHD patients.
In this randomized clinical trial before and after study we will assess the effect of L-citrulline malate on brachial index in patients with coronary heart disease based on their smoking history. Twenty patients with coronary heart disease with no history of diabetes or other chronic diseases and with no history of myocardial infarction in the last 6 months will participate in our trial.A written well-versed permission was attained from all patients. We will measure the brachial index tow times once before giving L-Citrulline malate and the other time after 2 weeks giving it.Patients receiving L-Citrulline malate as a 1 gram dry powder agent twice a day, that should in use with 250 mg dilute water .The patients will followed after 2 weeks by measuring brachial index which is our primary outcome measurement in this trial.We assumed that the brachial index in both smoker and non-smoker group of patients with coronary heart disease would change to normal or close to normal after giving 1 gram L-citrulline malate twice a day for 2 weeks.
The hypothesis is that home based clinical rehabilitation (CR) is less expensive than hospital based CR with similar clinical effectiveness. The investigators will compare the results of two forms of CR on 1. direct and indirect healthcare costs 2. effectiveness on mortality, morbidity, modifiable risk factors control, functional capacity measured by exercise testing, health related quality of life and satisfaction rate 3. cost/effectiveness analysis
The primary objective of this study is: - comparison of a safety and effectiveness of third generation DES (biolimus A9 and everolimus) in patients with STEMI treated by primary PCI with OCT guidance. A rate of 9 month MACE (deaths, myocardial infarction, ischemia driven TLR) will be assessed in both groups. The secondary outcomes are a comparison of (using OCT): - number of uncovered stent struts - number of malapposed stents struts - in-stent neointimal volume - in-segment assessment of vessel wall response to DES
This study is to compare the safety and performance of two stents coated with the same drug (the TAXUS Element Paclitaxel-Eluting Coronary Stent System and the TAXUS Express2 Paclitaxel-Eluting Coronary Stent System).
Treatment for no-option heart patients with coronary artery disease. Procedure includes the injection into the heart of a protein growth factor, administered by the Biological Delivery Systems MyoStar injection and mapping catheters, to stimulate the growth of blood vessels around blocked coronary arteries.
