NCT ID: NCT04511481 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Predictive Cancer Model

Deep Learning Magnetic Resonance Imaging Radiomic Predict Platinum-sensitive in Patients With Epithelial Ovarian Cancer

Start date: April 15, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Platinum-sensitive is an important basis for the treatment of recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) without effective methods to predict. We aimed to develop and validate the EOC deep learning system to predict the platinum-sensitive of EOC patients through analysis of enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images before initial treatment.Ninety-three EOC patients received platinum-based chemotherapy (>= 4 cycles) and debulking surgery from Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospitalin China from January 2011 to January 2020 were enrolled. This deep-learning EOC signature achieved a high predictive power for platinum-sensitive, and the signature based on MRI whole volume is better than that on primary tumor area only.

NCT ID: NCT04527692 Recruiting - Palliative Care Clinical Trials

Quality of Life of Children/Adolescents in Palliative Care Settings

MOSAIK
Start date: April 15, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Investigators will propose to each family monitored by the teams to participate in the study (children between 1 and 18 years old, families understanding and speaking a minimum of French). Semi-directed interviews are organized with children/adolescents and their parents who have agreed to participate in the study. The interviews are conducted by the care teams themselves. Socio-demographic data are collected.

NCT ID: NCT04568148 Recruiting - Covid-19 Clinical Trials

COVID-19 Biorepository

Start date: April 15, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Establish a COVID-19 biorepository to aid in developing our knowledge of the disease.

NCT ID: NCT04954105 Recruiting - Stress Clinical Trials

Influence of the COvid-19 Epidemic on STRESS and Heart-Rate Variability in Health-care Workers

COVISTRESS HRV
Start date: April 15, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The COVID-19 pandemic is an exceptional and particularly anxiety-provoking health situation. In particular, for healthcare professionals who come into contact with patients who are contaminated or suspected of contamination, such as emergency rooms. The management of these patients requires reinforced protective equipment. However, in the context of this pandemic, data is currently non-existent on the objective measurement of the stress of these professionals. Sinus variability of heart rate is a biomarker of stress measured with a simple heart rate monitor or a watch, completely painless, non-intrusive, and used by the general public routinely in many areas (monitoring sports sessions, etc.).

NCT ID: NCT05123456 Recruiting - Knee Injuries Clinical Trials

Risk of Osteoarthritis of the Knee at Least 5 Years After ACL Reconstruction: Comparative Study Between an Isolated ACL Reconstruction and a Reconstruction Combining ACL and ALL

Start date: April 15, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The main objective of this study is to compare, with a minimum follow-up of 5 years, the prevalence of femoro-tibial osteoarthritis after an isolated ACL ligamentoplasty or after an ACL ligamentoplasty combining ACL and ALL.

NCT ID: NCT05178212 Recruiting - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

Characteristics and Outcomes of Patients With COVID-19 Treated With High-flow Nasal Oxygen and Awake-prone Position

AW-PP_Covid
Start date: April 15, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

A subset of patients with COVID-19 develops acute respiratory failure and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) (1). The use of invasive mechanical ventilation for the treatment of these conditions is associated with high mortality rates (2,3). The use of high-flow nasal oxygen therapy (HFNO) and awake prone position (AW-PP) could to decrease the need for endotracheal intubation and other adverse clinical outcomes (4-6). The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical results of the simultaneous application of high-flow nasal oxygen therapy HFNO and awake-prone position in a cohort of patients with severe respiratory failure secondary to COVID-19 on relevant clinical outcomes, and to assess risk factors of treatment failure defined as requirement of invasive mechanical ventilation.

NCT ID: NCT05767697 Recruiting - Liver Cancer Clinical Trials

Genomics and Prognosis in GI Cancers

Start date: April 15, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

This study aims to collect biospecimens and explore the correlation of genomics and prognosis in alimentary tract cancers.

NCT ID: NCT04080427 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

Effects of Delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) on Retention of Memory for Fear Extinction Learning in PTSD: R33 Study

Start date: April 15, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this study is to look at how a type of drug called cannabinoids are related to the processing of fear signals, the experience of emotions and fear, and the pattern of activity in the brain that is involved in these processes and how this relates to the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). PTSD is an anxiety disorder that occurs after experiencing a traumatic event(s) and is characterized by unwanted memories of the trauma(s) through flashbacks or nightmares, avoidance of situations that remind the person of the event, difficulty experiencing emotions, loss of interest in activities the person used to enjoy, and increased arousal, such as difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, anger and hypervigilance. The information gained from this study could lead to the development of new treatments for persons who suffer from anxiety or fear-based disorders.

NCT ID: NCT04159103 Recruiting - Propionic Acidemia Clinical Trials

Open-Label Study of mRNA-3927 in Participants With Propionic Acidemia

Start date: April 15, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This First-in-Human (FIH) Phase 1/2 study is designed to characterize the safety, tolerability, and pharmacological activity (as assessed by biomarker measurements) and to determine the optimal dose of mRNA-3927 in participants with genetically confirmed propionic acidemia (PA). After establishing a dose with acceptable safety and pharmacodynamic (PD) response in a Dose Optimization Group (Part 1) in participants ≥1 year of age, additional participants will be enrolled into the study in a Dose Expansion Group (Part 2) to allow for further characterization of the efficacy, safety, and PD of mRNA-3927. Part 3 will evaluate the safety, efficacy and PD response of mRNA-3927 in infants (<1 year of age).

NCT ID: NCT04293471 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Left Bundle-Branch Block

Prediction of Outcome by Echocardiography in Left Bundle Branch Block

EchoLBBB
Start date: April 15, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Patients with left bundle branch block have an increased risk for the development of heart-failure and death. However, risk factors for unfavorable outcomes are still poorly defined. This study aims to identify echocardiographic parameters and ECG characteristics by machine learning in order to develop individual risk assessment
