NCT ID: NCT03876067 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Ischemic Heart Disease

The Cardioprotective Effects of Adding Ozone To Cardioplegic Solution in Adult Cardiac Surgery

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

forty patients with age ranged between 40-70 years undergoing elective coronary artery bypass graft surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass will be included, they will divided into two groups. Ozone Group: in which Ozone will be added to cold blood cardioplegia. Control Group: in which in which only cold blood cardioplegia Primary outcome: Pattern of recovery of myocardium after declamping of Aorta 1. Time of cardiac rhythm return after declamping. 2. type of cardiac rhythm after declamping and rate of DC use. Secondary outcome: A-cardiac parameters - Post operative inotropic score - Incidence of post operative cardiac dysrhythmias - postoperative ejection fraction (EF) - Postoperative parameters of myocardial ischaemia - a- Troponin levels - b-Pro BNP - • Histopathology of myocardial sample for detection of myocyte cellular edema as a marker of ischemic changes. B-non cardiac parameters: 1. inflammatory markers 1. CRP 2. L\N 3. P\N 2. ICU stay 3. hospital stay 4. morbidity and mortality

NCT ID: NCT03878901 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Hypothermia; Anesthesia

Systemic Prevention and Management for Perioperative Hypothermia and Its Effect on Patients Outcome

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, single-blinded, multi-center study clinical trial to determine both clinical and health outcomes of stratified warm strategy to prevent intraoperative hypothermia. Participants enrolled into this trial will be from elective major surgery population in PUMC Hospital, Beijing Hospital and Xuanwu Hospital. investigators plan to enroll approximately 800 participants. Hypothermia risk will be evaluated through PREDICTOR model in all participants. According to hypothermia risk level, these participants will be stratefied into high, moderate and low risk group. Participants in each group will be randomly categorize into warm group and control group. Active warm and fluid warm strategy, prewarm and fluid warm strategy and only prewarm strategy are used for high risk, moderate risk and low risk patients seperately. For controll group traditional passive warm was used.

NCT ID: NCT03880097 Not yet recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Enabling the Study of Metabolism in Breast Cancer Through Collection of Fresh-tissue Biopsies

ENSEMBLE
Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study aims to evaluate how breast cancer cells metabolise nutrients in order to grow. Patients enrolled into this study will undergo a research biopsy that will aim to collect up to 4 cores of tumour tissue. These tissues will then be used in translational research to analyse how specific pro-tumorigenic events change breast cancer cell metabolism (compared to healthy cell metabolism).

NCT ID: NCT03880305 Not yet recruiting - Neonatal Sepsis Clinical Trials

White Blood Cells and Platelets Indices as a Prognostic Factor in Neonatal Sepsis

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Sepsis is a complex condition initiated by a pathogen and mediated by cytokines followed by immune, inflammatory, and coagulation homeostasis disturbances, its evolution being dictated by a complicated balance between pro inflammatory and anti- inflammatory factors. Most of the short and long-term complications of the neonatal sepsis are strictly related to inflammatory mediators. Neonatal sepsis is associated with a mortality rate that ranges from 13 to 60% inspite of improved antibiotic therapy and an increased morbidity in survivors .

NCT ID: NCT03880318 Not yet recruiting - Flat Foot; Spastic Clinical Trials

Joint Preserving Surgery for Correction of Spasmodic Flat- Foot in Skeletally Mature Foot

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

the investigators want to obtain a functional and radiological outcome of peroneus brevis, tertius and extensor digitorum longus muscles lengthening together with calcaneal osteotomies in the treatment of the spasmodic flat- foot.

NCT ID: NCT03880370 Not yet recruiting - Low Back Pain Clinical Trials

RELATIONSHIP OF LUMBOPELVIC MUSCULATURE WITH FUNCTIONAL TESTS IN NON-PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES WITH LUMBAR DISC HERNIATION

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

This is a control-case study. It has been designed to determine if there is a relationship between the cross sectional (thickness), through RUSI ultrasound, of the abdominal muscles, lumbar and hip muscles with the results of the functional tests, to determine its relevance in patients with low back pain and / or ciatalgia and lumbar disc herniation in non-professional athletes. The secondary objectives of the study will be to know if there is a relationship between the results of ultrasound measurements and functional tests with the result of the disability questionnaires, the amount of pain and its location, as well as determine the relevance, depending on the results of ultrasound measurements and test of the presence or not of a lumbar disc herniation.

NCT ID: NCT03881033 Not yet recruiting - Ultrasound Clinical Trials

Determination of Optimal Mask Ventilation Mode in Pediatrics Using Real-time Ultrasonography

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The peak inspiratory pressure during face mask ventilation for general anesthesia is closely correlated with gastric insufflation. High pressure increases the amount of air in stomach and low pressure could decrease the tidal volume, therefore ideal pressure means the pressure guarantee adequate ventilation with minimal gastric insufflation. The aim of this study is finding the proper pressure and mode of face mask ventilation in pediatric patients.

NCT ID: NCT03882190 Not yet recruiting - Ovarian Malignancy Clinical Trials

The Clinical Significance of Ovarian Function Detection and Protection in Fertility Preservation Surgery for Ovarian Malignancy

Start date: April 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The design of this prospective interventional study is to investigate the clinical significance of applying GnRHa preoperatively and postoperatively and detecting physical and endocrinic change in fertility preservation surgery
