NCT ID: NCT03759756 Completed - Clinical trials for Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence for Early Diagnosis of Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Start date: December 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma is one of the most common malignant tumor of upper digestive tract. However, the detection rate and diagnosis accuracy of early esophageal squamous cell cancer is low. The aim of this study is to develop a computer-assisted diagnosis tool combining with optical magnifying endoscopy for early detection and accurate diagnosis of it.

NCT ID: NCT03623971 Completed - Cataract Clinical Trials

Validation of a Universal Cataract Intelligence Platform

Start date: January 1, 2013
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study established and validated a universal artificial intelligence (AI) platform for collaborative management of cataracts involving multi-level clinical scenarios and explored an AI-based medical referral pattern to improve collaborative efficiency and resource coverage. The datasets were labeled using a three-step strategy: (1) categorize slit lamp photographs into four separate capture modes; (2) diagnose each photograph as a normal lens, cataract or a postoperative eye; and (3) based on etiology and severity, further classify each diagnosed photograph for a management strategy of referral or follow-up. A deep residual convolutional neural network (CS-ResCNN) was used for the image classification task. Moreover, we integrated the cataract AI agent with a real-world multi-level referral pattern involving self-monitoring at home, primary healthcare, and specialized hospital services.

NCT ID: NCT03622281 Completed - Colonoscopy Clinical Trials

Quality Improvement Intervention in Colonoscopy Using Artificial Intelligence

Start date: October 20, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Quality measures in colonoscopy are important guides for improving the quality of patient care. But quality improvement intervention is not taking place, primarily because of the inconvenience and expense. To address the difficulties above, we used artificial intelligence for quality control of colonoscopy.

NCT ID: NCT03499145 Completed - Clinical trials for Artificial Intelligence

Validation of the Utility of Ophthalmology Intelligent Diagnostic System

Start date: April 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The prevention and treatment of diseases via artificial intelligence represents an ultimate goal in computational medicine. Application scenarios of the current medical algorithms are too simple to be generally applied to real-world complex clinical settings. Here, the investigators use "deep learning" and "visionome technique", an novel annotation method for artificial intelligence in medical, to create an automatic detection and classification system for four key clinical scenarios: 1) mass screening, 2) comprehensive clinical triage, 3) hyperfine diagnostic assessment, and 4) multi-path treatment planning. The investigator also establish a telemedicine system and conduct clinical trial and website-based study to validate its versatility.

NCT ID: NCT03400514 Recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

Clinical Concordance Study Between Watson for Oncology and Clinician Practice

W001
Start date: April 12, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

At present, Watson for Oncology has been applied in 14 countries worldwide, including China, the United States, Holland, Thailand, India, Korea, Poland, Slovakia and Bangladesh. In a double-blind study involving 362 patients in India, treatment recommendations from Watson for Oncology (WFO) performed a high degree of consistency with their multidisciplinary tumor board. The investigators would recruit cancer patients diagnosed as lung cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, cervical cancer or ovarian cancer according to the criteria of Watson for Oncology ,using the updated version of Watson for Oncology to explore the concordance of therapeutic regimen between WFO and physicians in the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University.

NCT ID: NCT03317691 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Artificial Intelligence

The ALERT-Pilot Study

Start date: October 20, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

the algorithm of artificial intelligent to diagnose myocardial infarction through prior surgery Electrocardiogram was established. The accuracy of using artificial intelligent to diagnose acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and judge criminal vascular was evaluated.

NCT ID: NCT03268031 Completed - Glaucoma Clinical Trials

Artificial Intelligence-assissted Glaucoma Evaluation

AGE
Start date: August 15, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Glaucoma is currently the second leading cause of irreversible blindness in the world. Our study intends to combine clinical data of glaucoma patients in Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center with Artificial Intelligence techniques to create programs that can screen and diagnose glaucoma.

NCT ID: NCT03125837 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Artificial Intelligence

Establishment of Airway Database for Surgical Patients

Start date: May 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Difficult airway is a major reason of anesthesia related injuries with latent life threatening complications. Foresee difficult airway in the preoperative period is vital for the patient's safety. The aim of this study is to develop a computer algorithm that can detect whether the patient is a difficult airway based on photographs form six aspects. This method will be decreased potential complication related to difficult airway and increased patient safety.
