The new professional profiles highlight the need to incorporate competences such as self-regulation, communication or growth mindset in the academia. Not only is this important for employability; we need to take a step further and equip learners with knowledge, skills and attitudes that help them become agents of change and shape sustainable futures in our current complex society. Within the framework of an agreement signed between the University of Granada (UGR), Spain, and, one of the leading real state firms in Spain, Cívitas, a course and a parallel study have been launched that will provide research and training in these competences at a degree level. It is part of the Sustainable Human Development Training Pathway of the Vice-Rectorate for Equality, Inclusion and Sustainability, and 3 ECTS will be accredited for the completion of any of the UGR official degrees. The main objective of the study is to test whether participating in a competence-based course can improve students' cognitive, emotional and personal traits as well as academic performance. Together with this main purpose, the present study also aims to compare the effects of two competence-based programs on the students' ability to improve specific aspects of cognition, emotional intelligence, creativity or academic performance among others. Both programs involve training sustained attention and an accepting and open attitude though they differ in several aspects of their methods, intention and aims. Drawing conclusions from the research and outcomes, pedagogies which are best suited to develop theses competences at the Higher Education level will be suggested. Assessment and certification of this kind of competences will also be proposed.
This study evaluate the interest of Virtual Reality to reduce the preoperative anxiety in patients who undergo to ambulatory surgery. Half of the patients will received the virtual reality program, and the other half will received de common treatment.

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of watching cartoons with virtual reality glasses and tablets applied during the blood collection process on the level of pain, fear and anxiety experienced by children.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate clinical outcomes among people with cancer who participate in a 12-week therapist-supported digital mental health intervention (DMHI) called the Meru Health Program (MHP). Study participants (N=20) will be referred to the MHP through the Cancer Support Community (CSC) Helpline and network of Gilda's Club locations. The main outcomes will be depression symptoms, anxiety symptoms, health-related quality of life (HRQoL), intervention adherence, and intervention satisfaction. The secondary objective will be to determine the acceptability of the screening and referral process from the CSC networks into the MHP. Data pertaining to implementability will be collected from study participants, MHP clinicians, and CSC staff.
This study will examine a telehealth parenting intervention to reduce anxiety in 20 families of children between 4 and 8 years old with autism and anxiety. Caregivers and children complete 12 telehealth treatment sessions. Caregivers and children will complete pre tests, post tests, and 3 month followup assessments that include observations, heart rate monitoring, and caregiver ratings.
The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of Ranquilon, 1 mg tablets, at a dose of 6 mg/day compared to placebo for the treatment of patients with anxiety in neurasthenia and adjustment disorder. An additional study objective was to evaluate the safety of Ranquilon, 1 mg tablets, at a dose of 6 mg/day compared to placebo in patients with anxiety in neurasthenia and adjustment disorder.
With the virtual reality application in patients with bronchoscopy, it is aimed to reduce the fear, stress and tension arising from the possibility of the development of pain and complications in the patients. The research will be carried out in the form of pretest-posttest application with 30 experimental and 30 control groups. The researcher aims to minimize the fear and stress in the patient by applying the virtual reality application to the patient in the experimental group 10 minutes before the procedure and 5-10 minutes during the procedure.
This study will explore the functioning of a mobile transdiagnostic emotion regulation intervention designed for university students to optimize the uptake and the effectiveness of the intervention.
