NCT ID: NCT06366997 Completed - Clinical trials for Epithelial Ovarian Cancer

Diagnosis of Epithelial Ovarian Cancer Using Ovarian Cancer Score (OCS) Test

Start date: October 9, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The study is designed to confirm the performance of the 3D Medicines Corporation OCS test in diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer in patients with adnexal mass. To this end, blood samples from female patients with adnexal mass required surgical resection from four centers are obtained and analysis in the study.

NCT ID: NCT05974618 Recruiting - Pregnancy Related Clinical Trials

Prospective Validation of the ADNEX Model for Discrimination Between Benign and Malignant Adnexal Masses in Pregnancy: International Ovarian Tumour Analysis in Pregnancy Study (p-IOTA)

pIOTA
Start date: June 5, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Prospective Validation of the ADNEX Model for discrimination between benign and malignant adnexal masses in pregnancy: International Ovarian Tumour Analysis in pregnancy study (p-IOTA)

NCT ID: NCT05842629 Recruiting - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Improved Diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer

Start date: May 15, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

After implementation of systematic image description of adnexal masses, we aim to improve and evaluate our use of available imaging methods and biomarkers for classifying adnexal masses and distinguishing between benign and malignant adnexal masses in the hands of clinicians in Central Denmark Region. Secondarily, we want to improve our management of adnexal masses by evaluating the complications and longitudinal changes in conservatively managed adnexal masses. Data is registered prospectively but analyzed retrospectively.

NCT ID: NCT05815992 Recruiting - Adnexal Mass Clinical Trials

Accuracy of the Characterization of Adnexal Masses, Indeterminate at Ultrasonography, Using a MRI Protocol Without Contrast: Validation of the Cambridge Score

CAMBRIDGE
Start date: September 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aim of this prospective observational study is to evaluate the accuracy and to validate the Cambridge Score,a Test Index to predict the malignancy of the ovarian lesions on the basis of an MRI examination without contrast

NCT ID: NCT05761275 Not yet recruiting - Quality of Life Clinical Trials

Assessment of Women's Sexual Quality of Life After Benign Adnexal Surgery Using vNOTES Approach

Start date: January 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Transvaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (vNOTES) is a recent innovation in minimally invasive surgery which has already proven its non-inferiority to conventional abdominal laparoscopy (CAL) for hysterectomy in terms of efficiency and safety. However, the investigators note a lack of medical literature and no specific randomized controlled trial (RCT) assessing women's sexual function after vNOTES for benign adnexal surgery. The aim of this RCT is to confirm the non-inferiority of the vNOTES approach for benign adnexal pathology compared to CAL on women's sexual function. Secondary outcomes will evaluate vNOTES's efficiency, morbidity and postoperative complications compared to CAL for benign adnexal surgery. The relationship between adnexal mass morcellation/aspiration and the quality of the histological analysis on surgical specimens will also be evaluated as secondary outcome.

NCT ID: NCT05461872 Recruiting - Adnexal Mass Clinical Trials

Retrospective Review on PAEDIATRIC and ADOLESCENT ADNEXAL MASSES

Start date: August 12, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

To review the characteristic, presentation and outcome of girls presented with adnexal masses to hopefully develop a management algorithm for girls with adnexal masses.

NCT ID: NCT05051722 Recruiting - Ovarian Cancer Clinical Trials

Leveraging Methylated DNA Markers (MDMs) in the Detection of Endometrial Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, and Cervical Cancer

ECHO
Start date: August 3, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The overarching objective of this project is to develop a pan-gynecologic cancer detection test using gynecologic (unique endometrial, cervical, and ovarian cancer) cancer-specific methylated DNA markers and high-risk human papilloma virus (HR-HPV) detected in vaginal fluid and/or plasma. This proposal defines Phase II MDM-based cancer detection studies in endometrial cancer (EC) and endometrial hyperplasia with atypia (AEH) in tampon-collected vaginal fluid and 2) ovarian cancer (OC) in plasma and tampon-collected vaginal fluid. Additionally, it defines necessary Phase I MDM-based cancer detection and exploratory aims to test novel cervical cancer (CC) MDMs and test the specificity of cancer-specific MDMs among various common benign gynecologic pathologies.er detection and exploratory aims to test novel cervical cancer MDMs and test the specificity of cancer-specific MDMs among various common benign gynecologic pathologies.

NCT ID: NCT05017246 Recruiting - Fibroid Uterus Clinical Trials

Comparing Intrathecal Morphine and Intraoperative Lidocaine Infusion to Epidural Anesthesia With Postoperative PCA for Patients Undergoing Exploratory Laparotomy

Start date: January 18, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

To determine if opioid consumption postoperatively among patients undergoing non-emergent laparotomy by the gynecologic oncology service who receive intrathecal morphine with intraoperative lidocaine (IML) infusion are lower than patients who have epidural anesthesia with PCA (EPCA).

NCT ID: NCT04668521 Terminated - Adnexal Mass Clinical Trials

Multifactorial Risk Assessment for Breast & Ovarian Cancer Risk Detection

OVA360
Start date: May 4, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective of this project is to validate a next-generation assay that utilizes both the protein biomarkers of our already established ovarian cancer risk assessment combined with a molecular profile in both germline and early somatic detection.

NCT ID: NCT04487405 Terminated - Adnexal Mass Clinical Trials

A Multivariate Index Assay for Ovarian Cancer Risk Assessment in Women With Adnexal Mass and High-Risk Germline Variants

OVAnex
Start date: June 25, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective of this project is to validate the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive values of the AMRA blood test for assessing risk of cancer in women at high risk for ovarian cancer, due to the presence of a symptomatic adnexal mass.
