Filter by:It is a trial to compare the efficacy and safety of Albumin-bound Paclitaxel plus S-1 versus Oxaliplatin plus S-1 (SOX) as first-line treatment in advanced or recurrent gastric adenocarcinoma.
A Vater's ampulloma is a rare digestive tumour which accounts for under 1% of all digestive tumours. The only curative treatment is complete excision (surgical or endoscopic) of the lesions which is possible in 80% of cases , with or without adjuvant treatment. The reference radical treatment is cephalic duodenopancreatectomy (CDP). The indication for adjuvant treatment is still debated: in view of the aggressive nature of the disease and the high recurrence rate, it would appear appropriate to offer adjuvant treatment, although several studies have failed to find any benefit on survival with post-operative radio-chemotherapy, the most widely studied treatment at present, compared to excision alone. At present there are no phase II studies specifically examining medical treatment of degenerated, inoperable Vater's ampullomas. Some groups propose chemotherapies with 5-FU or gemcitabine, analogous to the treatments used for intestinal, pancreatic or biliary tumours, although neither one has been shown to date to be superior to the other, nor have decision-making criteria been clearly established. In conclusion, a national cohort study is proposed to undertake a prospective analysis of the outcome of all patients treated for ampullary adenocarcinoma (particularly survival without recurrence and prognostic indicators for excised tumours and the duration of disease control for tumours treated with palliative chemotherapy). The treatment methods will be left to the free choice of the investigator and all patients may be included, regardless of stage of their disease. In this study, freezing of tumour fragments is encouraged, as this cohort will be supplemented by a later biological study. In order to recruit sufficient patient numbers, the study will be based on participation of the cooperative groups involved in the management of digestive cancers.
The purpose of this study is 1) to evaluate the feasibility of manufacturing a patient-specific neoantigen cancer vaccine, which involves predicting the patient's neoantigens and generating a vaccine that encodes the predicted neoantigens; and, 2) to identify and select patients who may be eligible for a shared neoantigen cancer vaccine where their tumor contains a specific shared mutation and who have the correct HLA allele capable of presenting the neoantigen derived from the tumor-specific mutation.
This research intend to collect the information of gastric cancer patients who received preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy and radical gastric ectomy at Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, West China Hospital, Sichuan University. Base on The degree of edema, intraoperative effusion, fibrosis of connecting tissues, the investigators aim to constitute the core parameters of the tissue response grading system following neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and explore the mutual effect among the tissue response grading system, tumor regression response and long-term survival outcome of tumor patients.
The present study is a multi-center, single-arm, open, phase I/IIa clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of EBViNT Cell when administered to patients with Epstein-Barr (EBV) positive malignancies The present study investigates with 5 parts; Part1-phase I: IP single therapy on ENKL and solid tumors Part2-phase I: IP + lymphodepletion on solid tumors Part 3&5- Phase IIa: IP single therapy on each ENKL and solid tumors Part 4- Phase IIa: IP + lymphodepletion on solid tumors
In previous studies, the investigators found that POF (A combination of oxaliplatin, fluorouracil and Paclitaxel) regimen appears to be of good efficacy and is well tolerated in patients with advanced gastric cancer. Apatinib is an orally antiangiogenic agent. It was approved and launched in China in 2014 as a 3rd-line treatment for patients with advanced gastric cancer. Therefore, investigators conducted the dose escalation phase I study to explore the safety of combination of apatinib and POF as first-line treatment for advanced gastric cancer. Now the investigators are going to start a phase 2 trial with apatinib 500mg + POF as second-line therapy to investigate the efficacy and safety in the patients with advanced gastric cancer.
This study evaluates the possibility of performing local therapy for PDAC using laser ablation of the tumor under ultrasonography (EUS) guidance. Safety of the procedure as well as post procedural quality of life will be also evaluated.
To learn if atezolizumab in combination with oxaliplatin and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), when given before surgery, can help to control esophageal and/or gastroesophageal cancer. To learn if adding tiragolumab to the above drug combination can help to control the disease.
The initial intent of the study was to be a multi-center single-arm open-label Simon's two-stage Phase II clinical trial of first-line mFOLFOX6 + trastuzumab + avelumab in metastatic HER2-amplified gastric and esophageal adenocarcinomas. Accrual will halt after completion of Stage I (enrollment of 18 patients). This decision is not due to safety issues. Subjects currently on treatment will continue until criteria as defined in the protocol is met.
To date no randomized controlled trials have been completed that demonstrated whether TACE(Transarterial chemoembolization) is an effective adjunct to systemic chemotherapy (target therapy) with respect to advantages in conversion resection rates and survival compared with chemotherapy (target therapy) alone for patients who failed with first-line chemotherapy. The primary objective of this trial is to determine conversion resection rates and survival for patients with colorectal cancer liver metastasis are treated with TACE plus chemotherapy ± target therapy, compared to chemotherapy ± target therapy in the 2nd, and 3rd line.
