The experience of the chronic illness negatively engraves on the quality of life of patients. Endometriosis is a disease that affects millions of women of childbearing age; it has repercussions on psychological health, as shown by numerous recent studies. The aim of the present study is to validate the italian version of EPH 30, a self reported questionnaire, already used internationally, in order to determine the quality of life in women with endometriosis, assess their psychological health and the effectiveness of therapies.

A Randomized Controlled Trial Evaluating Sildenafil Citrate in Relieving Ureteral Stent Related Symptoms

Despite its beneficial effect, ureteral stents may produce symptoms (such as hematuria, dysuria, frequency, urgency, urge incontinence and suprapubic or flank pain) that affect the quality of life in 70-80%. This study will be conducted to evaluate the role of Phosphodiestrase 5 inhibitor (Sildenafil Citrate) in relieving these symptoms.

This trial is a three-armed randomized controlled trial which will explore the utility of an implementation intention intervention on aerobic and resistance exercise in older (60+) prostate and breast cancer survivors and improving quality of life. It is expected that those in the experimental groups will report greater increases in their physical activity, resulting in greater improvements in their quality of life.
