NCT ID: NCT06017284 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Chemotherapy-induced Nausea and Vomiting

Thalidomide to Chemotherapy Related Nausea and Vomiting in Pancreatic Cancer

PTCA199-5
Start date: November 1, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of thalidomide on improving the quality of life for metastatic pancreatic cancer patients receiving gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT05642962 Recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

Pancrelipase in People With Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (PDAC)

Start date: November 30, 2022
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The main purpose of this study is to see how pancrelipase affects the body mass index (BMI) in people with metastatic PDAC. BMI is a measure based on a person's height and weight. Other study goals are to explore two different dosing schedules of pancrelipase and to evaluate pancrelipase in people who do not have symptoms of EPI.

NCT ID: NCT05254171 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

Study of Nab-Paclitaxel and Gemcitabine With or Without SBP-101 in Pancreatic Cancer

ASPIRE
Start date: August 8, 2022
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study of standard treatment with nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine with or without SBP-101 in subjects previously untreated for metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA), including subjects who have received prior neoadjuvant or adjuvant treatment.

NCT ID: NCT04953962 Completed - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Cancer Stage IV

Study of CBP501/Cisplatin/Nivolumab Combinations in Advanced Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: December 18, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Multicenter, randomized, open-label, parallel group phase 2 study to assess the efficacy and tolerance of four combinations of CBP501, cisplatin, and nivolumab administered once every 21 days to patients with stage IV exocrine pancreatic cancer and WBC < 10,000/mm3 at screening.

NCT ID: NCT04852367 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma

PanDox: Targeted Doxorubicin in Pancreatic Tumours

PanDox
Start date: June 16, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study will combine focused ultrasound to generate heat, and a heat-sensitive chemotherapy drug (ThermoDox®), delivered into the blood of participants with non-resectable pancreatic cancer. We will compare this to standard delivery of chemotherapy - the drug Doxorubicin given into the blood without the addition of ultrasound. We aim to determine whether the novel approach to delivering chemotherapy with heating the tumour by focused ultrasound can enhance the amount of drug delivered to pancreatic tumours. This will be measured by analysing a biopsy sample of treated tumour.

NCT ID: NCT04674956 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Cancer Metastatic

A Prospective, Randomized, Double-blinded, Multi-center Clinical Trial to Evaluate the Efficiency and Safety of Anti-PD1 Antibody (Camrelizumab) Combined With Paclitaxel(Albumin Bound) and Gemcitabine as First-line Therapy in Patients With Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: March 4, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Aim:Evaluate the efficiency and safety of anti-PD1 antibody (Camrelizumab) combined with Paclitaxel(Albumin Bound) and Gemcitabine as first-line therapy in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. Drug information: - anti-PD1 antibody (Camrelizumab) - AG regimens:the standard first-line regimens for metastatic pancreatic cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04628806 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Heat Shock Protein (HSP) 70 to Quantify and Characterize Circulating Tumor Cells

HSP70CTC
Start date: February 17, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

This study investigates the ability of heat shock protein HSP70 to isolate and quantify circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in patients with advanced or metastatic tumors. CTCs will be isolated from peripheral blood before antineoplastic treatment and again after three months. Isolation using HSP70 will be compared with standard CTC isolation by EpCAM. Additionally, imaging parameters of the primary tumor (if available) and metastases will be analysed and correlations between molecular alterations and imaging parameters will be assesed.

NCT ID: NCT04406831 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Neoplasms

The Role of MicroRNA in the Diagnosis, Prognosis and Response to Treatment in Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: April 2015
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Aberrant miRNA production has been linked to a wide range of human cancers and shown to play important roles in their genesis and growth. These miRNA can be detected in the blood and tumors of patients with cancer. The investigators hypothesize that the detection of certain miRNAs present in the blood/serum of patients with pancreatic cancer may be important to the early diagnosis of the disease. Furthermore, the investigators hypothesize that miRNA detection in PC patients will yield prognostic information and help predict the response to treatment.

NCT ID: NCT04181645 Completed - Clinical trials for Pancreatic Cancer Stage IV

SHR- 1210 Combined With Paclitaxel (Albumin Bound) and Gemcitabine as First-line Therapy in Patients With Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer

Start date: June 29, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, single center, non-randomized, phase I trial to evaluate safety and efficacy of using the combination treatment of SHR-1210 with Paclitaxel-albumin and gemcitabine of metastatic PDAC.

NCT ID: NCT04150042 Recruiting - Pancreatic Cancer Clinical Trials

SHARON: A Clinical Trial for Metastatic Cancer With a BRCA or PALB2 Mutation Using Chemotherapy and Patients' Own Stem Cells

Start date: January 13, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The clinical trial is a phase 1, single-arm trial that will evaluate the safety of the investigational treatment on metastatic cancer in patients who have a deleterious or suspected deleterious BRCA1, BRCA2, or PALB2 genetic alteration. The investigational treatment will involve 2 cycles of a combination of intravenous melphalan, BCNU, low-dose I.V. ethanol, vitamin B12b, and vitamin C in association with autologous hematopoietic stem cell infusion. A dose-escalation schedule will be employed for vitamin C.
