NCT ID: NCT06038448 Not yet recruiting - Urinary Catheter Clinical Trials

Efficacy of Reduction of the Balloon Volume for Prevention of Postoperative Catheter-related Bladder Discomfort in Patients Undergoing Non-lower Urinary Tract Surgery

Start date: September 18, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

CRBD is related to different degrees of irritation caused by the volume of the balloon in the urinary catheter, and when CRBD occurs, it may cause severe postoperative pain and trauma by self-removal of the catheter, further leading complications. Although many drugs can improve CRBD, measures that can be immediately intervened by non-nursing staff at any time and even have different side effects on patients due to drug use. Therefore, the author wants to use this study to explore the reduction of catheter balloon volume can effectively reduce the degree of CRBD, is a non-invasive and immediately executable nursing treatment.the quality of clinical care and hospitalization of the patient can be further improved, reducing the patient's inappropriate, thereby improving the quality of medical care.

NCT ID: NCT06038422 Not yet recruiting - Recurrence Clinical Trials

GTP Regimen in the Treatment of Refractory/Recurrent HLH

Start date: September 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about efficacy and safety of GTP regimen in refractory/recurrent hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Overall remission rate of GTP regimen in R/R HLH - Adverse effect of GTP regimen Participants will be treated with GTP regimen

NCT ID: NCT06037083 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants

Post-Extubation Assessment of Clinical Stability in ELBW Infants

PEACE
Start date: November 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is an observational, proof-of-concept, feasibility study that aims to evaluate the feasibility of a monitoring system that integrates clinical data, high-resolution waveforms from the bedside monitor, regional oxygenation (via cerebral and splanchnic near-infrared spectroscopy), and regional ventilation (via electrical impedance tomography) from 20 extremely low birth weight infants at high-risk of reintubation.

NCT ID: NCT06036732 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Traumatic Brain Injury

A New Approach in Intensive Care Unit Consciousness Assessment: FIVE Score

Start date: October 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

1. The primary aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between the length of ICU stay and a newly developed FIVE score in neuro-intensive care patients. 2. The secondary objectives are to evaluate the impact of the FIVE score on hospital length of stay, Modified Rankin Scale, and mortality, as well as to determine the correlation between the GCS, FOUR, and FIVE scores

NCT ID: NCT06036134 Not yet recruiting - COVID-19 Pandemic Clinical Trials

Reducing COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy Among Hispanic Parents

Start date: May 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

COVID-19 vaccines are available to children over six months, and these vaccines are powerful tools against this catastrophic pandemic. However, Hispanic/Latino children have lower COVID-19 vaccination rates than White non-Hispanic children .Our team of health communication and public health experts proposes a community-based theory-driven intervention that utilizes culturally-grounded narratives from digital storytelling to reduce Hispanic parents' COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and increase their children's vaccine uptake.

NCT ID: NCT06035978 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Cardiovascular Diseases

Determination of Drug Levels for Pharmacotherapy of Heart Failure

Start date: March 2024
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to determine whether and how serum concentrations of the used medicinal products, including their metabolites, correlate with selected clinical indicators of heart failure (NT-proBNP concentration, 6-minute walk test, quality of life questionnaire, echocardiographic parameters, hospitalization for HFrEF, length of survival).

NCT ID: NCT06035796 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for VAP - Ventilator Associated Pneumonia

Performance Study of Targeted Sequencing Technology for VAP

Start date: October 1, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Main purpose: To evaluate the feasibility of tNGS for pathogen detection and drug resistance analysis in VAP patients. Research site and research population: This study is planned to be conducted in hospitals, targeting VAP patients. Perform clinical routine testing and tNGS testing on lower respiratory tract samples (BALF) from VAP patients, and collect patient clinical information. Clinical routine testing includes culture (necessary), microscopy, serology, PCR, etc., and drug sensitivity tests are conducted on positive culture samples as needed. Finally, compare the consistency of tNGS detection results with clinical culture, comprehensive diagnosis, and drug sensitivity results. Further validation was conducted on consistent negative or inconsistent samples through PCR and mNGS.

NCT ID: NCT06033703 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment

Topical Netarsudil for the Prevention of Proliferative Vitreoretinopathy in Patients With Retinal Detachment

Start date: February 2024
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study has two main objectives. The first objective is to study the pharmacokinetics of topical netarsudil administration in the posterior segment of the eye, where netarsudil must exert its effect in order to prevent formation of tractional membranes. The second objective is to assess the safety profile of topical netarsudil in the pre- and post-operative periods. A secondary objective of the study is to begin to assess signs of efficacy in preventing formation of tractional membranes post-operatively.

NCT ID: NCT06031688 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Stage IV Lung Cancer AJCC v8

Targeted Treatment for Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer That Has a MET Exon 14 Skipping Gene Change (An Expanded Lung-MAP Treatment Trial)

Start date: July 15, 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II Expanded Lung-MAP treatment trial tests tepotinib with or without ramucirumab for the treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has spread from where it first started (primary site) to other places in the body (stage IV) or that has come back after a period of improvement (recurrent). Tepotinib is used in patients whose cancer has a mutated (changed) form of a gene called MET. It is in a class of medications called kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking the action of the abnormal MET protein that signals tumor cells to multiply. This helps slow or stop the spread of tumor cells. Ramucirumab is a monoclonal antibody that may prevent the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. Giving tepotinib with ramucirumab may lower the chance of the cancer from growing or spreading in patients with stage IV or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer.

NCT ID: NCT06031597 Not yet recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Stage III

Radiotherapy Combined With ICIs as Treatment for LA-NSCLC After Failing Induction Immunochemotherapy

Start date: September 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Patients with stage III non-small-cell lung cancer initially evaluated as unresectable are selected for the program, who are remained unresectable after 2-4 cycles of conversion chemotherapy combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors. Investigators will stratify the treatment according to different performance status scores and radiotherapy plan bi-lung receptor volume to evaluate the safety and efficacy of immunotherapy followed by combined radiotherapy.
