Health literacy is defined as "the capacity to obtain, process, and understand health information and services to enable sound health decisions." Information gained from this study, may help researchers develop appropriate modalities to enhance comprehension of radiation therapy, and therefore allow for improved patient decision making with medical treatment.
This Phase 3 study will assess the safety and efficacy of a single dose of inclacumab, a P-selectin inhibitor, for a vaso-occlusive crisis (VOC) after an index VOC in participants with sickle cell disease (SCD). Participants will be randomized to receive either inclacumab or placebo.
This is a multicohort phase 2 study to evaluate the efficacy of pembrolizumab combined with the investigational drug sitravatinib in the frontline treatment of advanced, non-squamous PD-L1 positive NSCLC.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tislelizumab in combination with sitravatinib compared with docetaxel in participants with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have disease progression following platinum-based chemotherapy and anti-programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1)/programmed cell death ligand-1 (PD-L1) antibody, with the anti-PD-(L)1 antibody administered in combination with or sequentially before or after the platinum-based chemotherapy.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether oral temanogrel improves digital blood flow in participants with Raynaud's phenomenon secondary to systemic sclerosis (SSc-RP) as a potential safe and effective treatment for symptoms associated with SSc-RP.
This is a multicenter, open-label, Phase 1b/2 efficacy and safety study of Berubicin utilizing a Simon's 2-stage design to confirm the efficacy (or futility) of a single arm of Berubicin treatment, administered at the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) identified in Phase 1 studies (7.5 mg/m2 Berubicin HCl), on the endpoint of ORR in up to approximately 61 patients. A central reader will determine the radiologic responses for each patient according to m RANO criteria. The responder criteria for this Simon's design will be based on objective response criteria defined as individual patients achieving CR or PR per m-RANO criteria within 6 months from baseline.
A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-center, phase 2 clinical study in patients with NSTEMI undergoing urgent coronary angiography. Approximately 220 patients with CKD and acute NSTEMI, who are scheduled for an urgent coronary angiography (within 72 hours after admission and/or diagnosis of NSTEMI).
This phase Ib/II trial studies the side effects of PLX51107 in treating steroid-refractory acute graft versus host disease (GVHD). PLX51107 is a novel, potent non-benzodiazepine structured small molecule BET inhibitor with a unique binding mode selective for BRD4 inhibition and a more tolerable side effect profile. PLX51107 may work better in treating steroid-refractory acute GVHD.
The objective of this observational study is to evaluate the seroprevalence of anti-AAV antibodies in subjects with Ornithine Transcarbamylase (OTC) deficiency, Glycogen Storage Disease Type Ia (GSDIa), and Wilson Disease
This clinical trial evaluates the effect of tislelizumab in treating patients with mismatch repair deficient endometrial cancer that has come back (recurrent). Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) mismatch repair (MMR) is a system for recognizing and repairing DNA errors and damage. Mismatch repair deficient tumors (dMMR) may have difficulty repairing DNA mutations during replication that may affect tumor's response to therapy. Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as tislelizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving tislelizumab may help treat patients with mismatch repair deficient endometrial cancer.
