NCT ID: NCT04951284 Terminated - Alzheimer Disease Clinical Trials

Amyloid Prediction in Early Stage Alzheimer's Disease Through Speech Phenotyping - FUTURE Extension

FUTURE-US
Start date: January 21, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The primary objective of the study is to evaluate whether a set of algorithms analysing acoustic and linguistic patterns of speech, can predict change in Preclinical Alzheimer's Clinical Composite with semantic processing (PACC5) between baseline and +12 month follow up across all four Arms, as measured by the coefficient of individual agreement (CIA) between the change in PACC5 and the corresponding regression model, trained on baseline speech data to predict it. Secondary objectives include (1) evaluating whether similar algorithms can predict change in PACC5 between baseline and +12 month follow up in the cognitively normal (CN) and MCI populations separately; (2) evaluating whether similar algorithms trained to regress against PACC5 scores at baseline, still regress significantly against PACC5 scores at +12 month follow-up, as measured by the coefficient of individual agreement (CIA) between the PACC5 composite at +12 months and the regression model, trained on baseline speech data to predict PACC5 scores at baseline; (3) evaluating whether similar algorithms can classify converters vs non-converters in the cognitively normal Arms (Arm 3 + 4), and fast vs slow decliners in the MCI Arms (Arm 1 + 2), as measured by the Area Under the Curve (AUC) of the receiver operating characteristic curve, sensitivity, specificity and Cohen's kappa of the corresponding binary classifiers. Secondary objectives include the objectives above, but using time points of +24 months and +36 months; and finally to evaluate whether the model performance for the objectives and outcomes above improved if the model has access to speech data at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 month timepoints.

NCT ID: NCT04942054 Terminated - Clinical trials for Advanced Breast Cancer

A Study in Patients With Advanced Breast Cancer

Start date: May 20, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

A Phase 1, Open label, Dose escalation and Dose expansion study of SCO-120 in HR +ve HER2-ve advanced/ metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients to evalaute the safety, tolerability and prelimnary efficacy. Initial part with dose escalation is to determine the MTD and RP2D, and PK and PD characterisation. RP2D will be further evalauted for prelimnary efficacy in MBC patients with tretament failure on Aromatase Inhibitor/Fulvestrant/CDK4-6 inhibitors with or with out ESR1 mutation.

NCT ID: NCT04941729 Terminated - Hip Fractures Clinical Trials

Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of OR3O™ Dual Mobility System vs. Conventional Single Bearing Design Total Hip System

OR3O
Start date: June 23, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to compare OR3O™ Dual Mobility System to a conventional, single-bearing design Total Hip System in subjects who undergo Primary THA. Data collected in this study will be used to support National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) regulatory approval of OR3O™ Dual Mobility System in China as well as to support and maintain product registration in global markets. Primary Objective: Assess safety and efficacy of the OR3O™ Dual Mobility System in Primary THA at 1 year postoperative. Secondary Objective(s): Assess safety and efficacy of the OR3O™ Dual Mobility System and compatible components in Primary THA up to 2 years after surgery. Other Objective(s): Assess the hip dislocation and hospital readmission up to 2 years after device implantation. 4 study sites in China.

NCT ID: NCT04940871 Terminated - Clinical trials for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)

Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of Favipiravir-HU

Start date: November 25, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the study is to assess the safety and efficacy of Favipiravir HU when administered to SARS-Cov- 2 patients in order to offer a safe and effective treatment to SARS-Cov-2 infection during the pandemic. The study is not for registration purposes and is not part of a series of studies for registration of Favipiravir HU.

NCT ID: NCT04938388 Terminated - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

Comparison of Oral Semaglutide w/ Placebo- Treatment for Latino Adults w/T2 Diabetes Receiving Enhanced Lifestyle Care

Start date: January 29, 2022
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Researchers at Sansum Diabetes Research Institute want to learn more about how taking a new approved drug called oral Semaglutide, while eating fresh vegetables, impacts health in Hispanic/Latino adults with type 2 diabetes. This study drug is approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration and may be available by prescription for type 2 diabetes. To do this, 100 Hispanic/Latino adults who have type 2 diabetes will be split into two groups. Over one year, one group will take Semaglutide pills and the other group will take a placebo (a dummy pill that looks just like the real Semaglutide pill but does not contain the active drug). Neither the participants nor the study investigator nor the study doctor will know who is taking the real pill and who is taking the placebo. In case of an emergency, however, the study investigator and doctor can get this information. All participants will receive pills and vegetables every two weeks, have their health assessed by study staff, and meet with the study doctor six times over the course of the study. Participant weight, height, waist circumference, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels will be measured. Participants will also wear monitors to measure blood glucose, physical activity and sleep. Study staff will also ask questions about participant health, medications, mood, sleep, pain, exercise, diet, acculturation, household, language, and trust in doctors.

NCT ID: NCT04935411 Terminated - Clinical trials for Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration

Russian Registry of Patients With nAMD

Start date: December 20, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

A three-year, non-randomized, observational, multicenter prospective nAMD study - patient registry.

NCT ID: NCT04934670 Terminated - Clinical trials for Steroid-Refractory Acute Graft Versus Host Disease

A Study to Compare T-Guard vs Ruxolitinib for Treatment of Steroid-Refractory Acute Graft-vs-Host Disease (BMT CTN 2002)

2002
Start date: June 16, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, randomized, Phase 3, multicenter trial, which has been designed to compare the efficacy and safety of T-Guard to ruxolitinib in patients with Grade III or IV Steroid-Refractory acute Graft-Versus-Host Disease (SR-aGVHD). The primary hypothesis is that T-Guard treatment will improve the Day 28 complete response (CR) rate in patients with Grades III and IV SR-aGVHD compared to ruxolitinib.

NCT ID: NCT04928820 Terminated - Clinical trials for Metastatic Prostate Carcinoma

68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT for the Diagnosis of Bone Metastases in Patients With Prostate Cancer and Biochemical Progression During Androgen Deprivation Therapy

Start date: June 16, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies how well 68Ga-PSMA-11 positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) works in detecting the spread of cancer to the bones (bone metastasis) in patients with prostate cancer and increased PSA after treatment (biochemical recurrence) during androgen deprivation therapy. Diagnostic procedures, such as 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT, may help find and diagnose prostate cancer and find out how far the disease has spread.
