Filter by:It is a multicenter, single group target value clinical trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of radiofrequency ablation for peripheral lung tumors under the conjunction of the pulmonary radiofrequency ablation system with the disposable pulmonary radiofrequency ablation catheter developed by Hangzhou Broncus Medical Co., Ltd.
This study is a retrospective analysis of observational cohorts using data from prospectively collected administrative/claims data to investigate treatment patterns,healthcare resource utilisation (HCRU), direct and indirect costs (where feasible), and safety and effectiveness outcomes in patients with VTE and active cancer or patients with VTE and history of cancer who initiate anticoagulant treatment with a VKA, LMWH or NOACs.
The primary purpose of this study is to identify the recommended Phase 2 dose(s) (RP2Ds) and schedule assessed to be safe for EMB-02 and to characterize the safety and tolerability of EMB-02 at the RP2Ds. Pharmacokinetics (PK), immunogenicity, and the anti-tumor activity of EMB-02 will also be assessed.
This study will evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics, and effect of RC108-ADC for injeciton in subjects with c-Met positive advanced malignant solid tumors.
AB-106 will be administered once a day. Each treatment cycle is defined as 21 days of continuous medication. Dosing will continue until any of the following conditions are met: disease progression, intolerable drug-related adverse events, researchers recommend discontinuation of treatment, withdrawal of informed consent, pregnancy during the study, use of other anti-tumor therapy, loss of follow-up, death and other causes, whichever occurs first. The study includes a screening period, treatment period, safety follow-up and long-term follow-up.
Study Rational Since December 2019, outbreak of COVID-19 caused by a novel virus SARS-Cov-2 has spread rapidly around the world and became a pandemic issue. First data report high mortality in severe patients with 30% death rate at 28 days. Exact proportions of the reasons of death are unclear: severe respiratory distress syndrome is mainly reported which can be related to massive cell destruction by the virus, bacterial surinfection, cardiomyopathy or pulmonary embolism. The exact proportion of all these causes is unknown and venous thromboembolism could be a major cause because of the massive inflammation reported during COVID-19. High levels of D-dimers and fibrin degradation products are associated with increased risk of mortality and some authors suggest a possible occurrence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) during COVID-19. Indeed, COVID-19 infected patients are likely at increased risk of VTE. In a multicenter retrospective cohort study from China, elevated D-dimers levels (>1g/L) were strongly associated with in-hospital death, even after multivariable adjustment. Also, interestingly,the prophylactic administration of anticoagulant treatment was associated with decreased mortality in a cohort of 449 patients, with a positive effect in patients with coagulopathy (sepsis-induced coagulopathy score ≥ 4) reducing the 28 days mortality rate (32.8% versus 52.4%, p=0.01). However the presence/prevalence of VTE disease is unknown in COVID-19 cancer patients with either mild or severe disease. Cancer patients are at a higher risk of VTE than general population (x6 times) and could be consequently at a further higher of VTE during COVID-19, in comparison with non-cancer patients. The exact rate of VTE and pulmonary embolism during COVID-19 was never evaluated, especially in cancer patients, and is of importance in order to understand if this disease needs appropriate prophylaxis against VTE. The largest series of cancer patients so far included 28 COVID-19 infected cancer patients: the rate of mortality was 28.6%. 78.6% of them needed oxygen therapy, 35.7% of them mechanical ventilation. Pulmonary embolism was suspected in some patients but not investigated due to the severity of the disease and renal insufficiency, reflecting the lack of data in this situation. The aim of the present study is to analyze the rate of symptomatic/occult VTE in a cohort of patients with cancer. Expected benefits Anticipated benefits of the research are the detection of VTE in order to treat it for the included patient. For all COVID-19 positive cancer patients it will enable to provide some guidelines and determine which patient are at risk for VTE and which will need ultrasound to detect occult VTE. Foreseeable risks Foreseeable risks for patients are non-significant because the additional procedures needed are ultrasound exam, and blood sample test. Methodology Retrospective and prospective (ambispective), multicentric study to evaluate the occurrence of venous thromboembolism during COVID-19 infection. Indeed, because the outbreak can end within the next 3-6 months, Investigators may not be able to answer the question if Investigators only focus on patients investigated prospectively. Investigators then decided to include patients from medical team who are already systemically screening patients with COVID-19 disease for VTE. Trial objectives Main objective To evaluate the rate of venous thromboembolism at 23 days during COVID-19 infection in cancer patients.
This phase II trial studies the effect of Sn-117m-DTPA on bone pain in patients with prostate cancer that has spread to the bones. Sn-117m-DTPA is a radioactive therapeutic agent that localizes to bones when given to patients. Sn-117m-DTPA may help reduce bone pain in patients with prostate cancer that has spread to the bones.
The study objectives are as follows: - To determine the safety of trial 18F-2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose, produced by a new manufacturer, by surveillance for adverse events in patients having Positron Emission Tomography Computed Tomography scans in a comprehensive program for indications including, but not limited to, oncology, neurology, cardiac and infectious/inflammatory processes. - To determine the efficacy of 18F-2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose Positron Emission Tomography in differentiating benign from malignant solitary pulmonary nodules and calculate sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy using pathologic confirmation as the gold standard when available, or greater than 6 month follow up stability on Computed Tomography scan when not. The purpose of performing this clinical trial is to provide local access of 18F-2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose to the patients of Newfoundland and Labrador. This product has been offered to patients over the last three years by transporting from facilities outside of the province. There have been significant delays in access and in fact, times where 18F-2-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose has not been available through this process. This has caused delays and limitations of treatments for patients who rely on Positron Emission Tomography Computed Tomography scans for diagnosis.
This study is designed to identify the best tolerated doses of Lutathera® and Azedra® when co-administered to treat midgut neuroendocrine tumors. These drugs are radioactive drugs, known as radionuclide therapy, and are both approved in the treatment of midgut neuroendocrine tumor as single agents (not together). Currently, the safest and best tolerated doses of these drugs (when combined) is unknown. That is the purpose of this clinical trial.
Dose-escalation study will be conducted in patients with locally advanced/metastatic solid tumors who have failed standard treatment, or cannot tolerate standard treatment, or have no recommended standard treatment, or do not apply standard treatment, to evaluate the safety, PK, tolerability and effectiveness of VC004. According to the efficacy, safety and PK of dose-escalation study , the investigator and the sponsor jointly determine the dose for dose extension, and evaluate the anti-tumor effect of VC004 on NTRK fusion-positive subjects, and provide more information for RP2D. According to the tolerability and pharmacokinetic results of dose-escalation study , an appropriate dose or MTD will be selected, namely RP2D, to further assess anti-tumor efficacy and safety in patients with NTRK fusion-positive locally advanced/metastatic solid tumors . ORR will be chosen as the main efficacy indicator to evaluate the anti-tumor efficacy and safety of VC004 .
