Pre-visit Digital Messaging Improves Patient Reported Outcome Measure Participation Prior to the Orthopedic Ambulatory Visit

Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) forms will be administered remotely to consecutive Orthopaedic patients presenting for new physician clinic visits. These patients will be sent either reminder e-mails, reminder digital patient portal ("MyChart") messages, or no reminder messages at all concerning PROMIS form completion at timepoints prior to their respective clinic visits and PROMIS form completion rates will consequently be assessed. The primary objective of this study is to develop an understanding of whether pre-visit reminder messages influence PROMIS form completion in Orthopaedic patients.

The Effect of Theoretical Knowledge on Resident's Practical Performance in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

Musculoskeletal ultrasound( MSUS) is highly operator-dependent and proper training is needed to ensure appropriate use and minimize risk of incorrect image interpretation.To acquire skills in MSUS, it is mandatory to assure training in both the cognitive ability to recognize normal and pathological findings within the images and the psychomotor component of the examination. This study will examine the effect of a novel developed e-learning platform "The Ultrasound LearNing plAtform (ULNA)", on pre- and post-course musculoskeletal ultrasound performance of rheumatology residents. Moreover, to examine the resident's satisfaction with the e-learning platform ULNA.

Digital Assessment Routing Tool (DART): Pilot Study

In the pilot study, we aim to explore trial design, assess procedures, and collect exploratory data to inform the design of a future Randomised Controlled Trial. The intervention involves a Digital Assessment Routing Tool (DART) that provides triage outcomes with recommended management pathways for participants with musculoskeletal problems. Participants complete DART either before or after their consultation with usual care clinicians (Physiotherapy-led remote triage). The triage outcome dispositions between DART and usual care clinicians will be compared. A panel will be formed to provide consensus on disagreements that may result in adverse triage outcomes, as well as on a sample of agreements between DART and usual care clinicians.

Physical Function of Older Citizens During Municipality-based Rehabilitation

When choosing outcomes to assess rehabilitation's effect or progress, it is essential to consider the constructs being measured and their value to the patient and the psychometric properties. Choosing an outcome that reflects all aspects of International Classification levels of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is challenging, especially in heterogeneous groups. However, it is important to know the psychometric properties as this gives important knowledge on how to interpret results and, consequently, how this can inform the patient's care. The Short Musculoskeletal Function Assessment (SMFA) questionnaire can reflect differences in patients' functional status with a broad range of disorders, like for elderly citizens undergoing municipality-based rehabilitation. Nevertheless, since there is no golden standard to measure rehabilitation outcomes, construct validity needs to be established to investigate how scores of SMFA can be related to measures on all levels of ICF. Therefore, this study has three main objectives: 1. To investigate how scores of the SMFA questionnaire are related to measures on different ICF levels 2. To describe the characteristics of older citizens starting municipality-based rehabilitation on all ICF levels 3. To investigate predictor variables of upper- and lower extremity strength
