Filter by:The current research on the impact of motivation in return to work after work disability has 2 major parts: (1) a questionnaire study for which SMEC gave approval, this part is completed, (2) a RCT. The RCT will compare two groups: (a) a consult as usual (a regular consult with the medical advisor) and (b) an intervention based on motivational interviewing performed by a medical advisor.
The study was conducted to determine the effect of self-care supported motivational interviewing on patients receiving hemodialysis treatment on self-care power, disease compliance and metabolic variables. The study was completed with 77 patients. In the collection of data; Personal Information Form, Self-Care Strength Scale, Chronic Disease Adjustment Scale and Patient-Specific Metabolic Variables Form were used.
The aim of the study is to investigate the needed extent and the way a dog is integrated into psychotherapeutic interventions for them to be motivating and alliance building for children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders aged 9 to 17 years old. Specifically, we want to elaborate if the dog needs to be integrated into the therapy in a form that it is part of the therapeutic context or if the presence of the dog without being part of the therapeutic context per se is beneficial.

The objectives of this study are to pilot test a protocol of weekly assessments of motivation to quit and other relevant constructs combined with information about how to enroll in cessation programs, which will allow initial quantification of motivation to quit during cancer treatment and develop hypotheses about the impact of motivation on the decision to enroll in services.
The research will be carried out on students studying at public secondary schools in the city center of Amasya. First of all, the digital game addiction levels of secondary school students who are randomly divided into experimental and control groups will be determined, and then students with digital game addiction will be included in the individual motivational interview program, which will last 6 sessions. In the last stage of the research, hippotherapy will be applied to the students 1 day a week for 8 weeks. The effect of motivational interviewing and hippoterain on digital game addiction will be investigated by pre-testing at the beginning of the research and post-testing at the end.
Introduction: Breastfeeding is not just a physiological event. Psychological and emotional factors affect breastfeeding. Motivation is also among these factors. For this reason, it should be considered that there will be problems with breastfeeding in the postpartum period. Since breastfeeding education can be a solution to these problems, it can increase the motivation of mothers for breastfeeding. Purpose: To examine the effect of online breastfeeding education on breastfeeding motivation. Methods: The type of the study was planned as a prospective, randomized controlled experimental study with pretest-posttest control group. The sample group of the research will be reached at Pamukkale University Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic and online via social media. The sample reached will be trained in the online environment. The research will be carried out between February 2022 and December 2022. A total of 50 people, 25 in the experimental group and 25 in the control group, will be included. Evaluation will be made with the Breastfeeding motivation scale (for primiparous mothers). Motivation scores will be compared before and after the training.
The aim of this study is to adapt the Cravings for Rest and Volitional Energy Expenditure (CRAVE) scale to Turkish society and to make its validity and reliability in Turkish. The CRAVE scale developed by Stults-Kolehmainen et al assesses the intrinsic motivation required for sedentary behavior and participation in physical activity. It has 13 questions. CRAVE scale questions and questions in the data collection form will be prepared through the google surveys and will be sent to the participants via Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram and e-mail. Participants will fill out the survey forms online. 130 participants will be included in the study. In order to evaluate the validity of the CRAVE, the Behavioral Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire-2 (BREQ-2), which can measure exercise behaviors and intrinsic motivation and has been validated in Turkish, will be used. Scales will be repeated after 15 days to assess test-retest reliability.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy of an education outside the classroom (EOtC) intervention on adolescents' physical activity, school motivation, academic achievement, and wellbeing. The study will also investigate which pedagogical and didactical elements of EOtC are important to achieve more physical activity, school motivation, and wellbeing.
The purpose of this research project is to assess the impact of a multi-level intervention designed to optimize work motivation and support physical and psychological health among employees.
