Evaluation of Family-Based Behavioral Treatments for Youth With Anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

Anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders are among the most common in children. Although cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an effective and evidence-based treatment for such disorders, access to CBT is often limited. Family-based and internet-delivered therapy is one method to increase access to care. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the comparative efficacy and treatment mechanisms of two lower-intensity but effective treatments for families of children with anxiety or obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) via telehealth compared to an adapted Relaxation and Mentorship Training (RMT) intervention involving breathing exercises with a therapist.

Homologous Re-infection With Dengue 1 or Dengue 3

Previous studies with one dengue infection in a controlled environment at Upstate generated data that has been important in understanding the clinical signs and symptoms and how a person's body reacts to dengue infection over time. This has helped investigators compare what is seen in the clinic to what is seen in areas where dengue is prevalent. The investigators want to collect similar information when a person gets the same dengue twice in a controlled environment with the hope that this will lead them to a better understanding of the disease. New participants - will receive one inoculation of dengue and then return to the clinic or be contacted by phone over 6 months; - will receive a second inoculation after 6 months and return to the clinic or be contacted by phone for three more months; - will collect saliva at home; - will allow the study team to collect blood and saliva at the clinic visits. Participants who have been in previous dengue inoculation studies at SUNY Upstate - will receive one inoculation of dengue and then return to the clinic or be contacted by phone over 6 months; - will collect saliva at home; - will allow the study team to collect blood and saliva at the clinic visits. All participants will be seen in the clinic every other day for the first three weeks after any inoculation.

Magnesium Versus Prochlorperazine Versus Metoclopramide for Migraines

This investigation describes a proposed clinical trial that will evaluate the relative efficacy of intravenous magnesium sulfate for the treatment of migraine compared to intravenous metoclopramide (Reglan) and intravenous prochlorperazine (Compazine) in the treatment of acute headache and migraine in adult patients. The ultimate objective will be clinical application of these drugs in the emergency department for the treatment of acute headache and migraine. The two phenothiazines (metoclopramide and prochlorperazine) have been routinely utilized in the treatment of acute headache and migraine in the emergency department setting. Per the 2017 American Headache Society guidelines, both intravenous metoclopramide and intravenous procholorperazine are recommended as "clinicians should offer" agents with level B evidence. Of note, there are no agents with level A evidence purported by this guideline for acute management of migraine. The same guideline offers "no recommendation can be made regarding the role of intravenous magnesium for adults who present to the ED with acute migraine. However intravenous magnesium may be of benefit to patients who present with migraine with aura." Multiple trials have evaluated intravenous magnesium's safety and efficacy in the management of acute migraine. These have demonstrated the tolerability of intravenous magnesium on a with breadth of patients. Most commonly the primary adverse event was flushing which self-resolved. No cases of hypotension were reported. None of these study agents have been withdrawn from the market.

The goal of this study is to test SIRPant-M, an autologous cell therapy, alone or in combination with focal external-beam radiotherapy in participants with relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Two dose levels of SIRPant-M are being tested. The main question this study aims to answer is if SIRPant-M alone or in combination with radiotherapy is safe and well-tolerated.

This trial tests the effectiveness of the Wingman-Connect Program delivered by USAF personnel on individual suicide risk. Randomization will be among classes at Initial Technical Training, in which 396 classes of USAF personnel will be randomized to Wingman-Connect or to an active control training (N=2,970 Airmen) and followed for one year. These classes send a proportion of graduates to Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) & Air Mobility Command (AMC) operational bases.

A Long-term Follow-up Study of Participants Who Received Delandistrogene Moxeparvovec (SRP-9001) in a Previous Clinical Study

The purpose of this study is to provide a single clinical study with a uniform approach to monitoring long-term safety and efficacy in participants who received delandistrogene moxeparvovec in a previous clinical study. No study drug will be administered as part of this study. Pre-infusion baseline will be defined as the timepoint just prior to infusion of delandistrogene moxeparvovec from a previous clinical study. Each participant will be followed for a minimum of 5 years post-infusion of delandistrogene moxeparvovec from a previous clinical study. The duration of participation in this study is dependent on the length of follow-up the participant completed post-infusion of delandistrogene moxeparvovec from a previous clinical study.

Study of Intravenous ZMA001 in Healthy Subjects

Background: A number of diseases can cause a type of lung injury called pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Most people who develop PAH do not survive more than a few years. A new study drug (ZMA001) may help. ZMA001 is a monoclonal antibody. This type of drug consists of proteins, made in a facility, that are very similar to proteins in a human body. But before giving ZMA001 to people sick with PAH, researchers want to find out how the drug affects healthy people. Objective: To test a drug (ZMA001) in healthy volunteers. Eligibility: Healthy adults aged 18 to 60 years. Design: Participants will be screened. They will have a physical exam with blood tests. They will have a urine test for drug use. They will have a test of their heart function. Participants will come to the clinic for 1 inpatient visit of up to 48 hours. ZMA001 is a liquid administered through a tube attached to a needle inserted into a vein in the arm. Participants will receive this drug only once, during their inpatient stay. Some participants will receive the drug; others will receive a placebo. A placebo is a treatment that looks just like the real drug but contains no medicine. Participants will not know which treatment they are getting. After a screening visit, participants will have 1 inpatient visit and up to 6 outpatient visits over 16 weeks after receiving the treatment. Blood draws and other tests will be repeated. Each outpatient visit is approximately 2 hours long. This study is the first time ZMA001 will be administered to people.

THIS-WIC Vermont Breastfeeding Education Application Feasibility Study

With funding through USDA and Tufts University's Telehealth Intervention Strategies for WIC (THIS-WIC) project, the Vermont WIC department will be conducting a feasibility study of a mobile telehealth solution for breastfeeding education. The purpose of this study is to evaluate this telehealth solution. The research/evaluation involves completing online surveys and interviews. The evaluation will focus on participant satisfaction, usage of the telehealth solution, and use of information collected on WIC participant through the WIC management information system (MIS) and the telehealth platform. It is hypothesized that the telehealth solution will increase WIC participant's satisfaction with breastfeeding education.
