The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety of IMG-007 in adults with moderate-to-severe AD. The secondary objectives are to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and efficacy of IMG-007 in AD patients.
The goal of this clinical trial is to develop and test how reminiscence offered by trained young adult volunteers using a digital storytelling (DST) platform may help older persons with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD) to improve their social and emotional well-being. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Whether is this reminiscence and DST based intervention effective in improving social and emotional well-being of older adults with ADRD? 2. Whether do young adult participants improve their social and emotional well-being as well as knowledge and attitudes towards aging after participating this study? Older adult participants in the intervention group will receive 6 sessions of life-review with young adult volunteers and create a DST based on their life review discussion in the last 4 weeks. Older adult participants in the social wellness control group will receive 6 sessions of general talks with young adults and create a non-digital scrapbook or journal at week 7-10. Researchers will compare these two groups to see if participants in the intervention group benefit more on their well-being.
Purpose: to explore headache characteristics and treatment effects of patient with new daily persistent headache (NDPH) through an online survey. Research design: Online survey of patients with new daily persistent headache. Risks: Risks include a breach of confidentiality as well as fatigue from taking the survey online. Importance of knowledge that may recently be expected to result: The study aims to discover new information in a very understudied disease. This information could, in future studies, help change the diagnostic criteria or lead to new treatment options.

The goal of this Single Arm Phase Ib clinical trial is to test standard of care chemotherapy and anti PD1 and IL1b to evaluate the safety and preliminary toxicity of this quadruplet regimen prior to resection in patients with pancreatic cancer. The main objectives it aims to answer are to: - Determine the recommended Phase II dose regimen of canakinumab and tislelizumab in combination with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel in patients with localized pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. - Estimate the proportion of patients who proceed to surgical resection. - Determine the safety and tolerability of canakimumab in combination with tislelizumab, nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine - Assess the preliminary clinical anti-tumor activity of canakimumab in combination with tislelizumab, nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine - Assess whether therapy has any impact on surgical options Participants will have labs drawn, CT scans, and a treatment administered consisting of: - Gemcitabine - Nab-paclitaxel - Canakinumab - Tislelizumab
This is a Phase 2 prospective, randomized, controlled, double-arm study to assess personalized self-management training (PSMT) intervention efficacy and patient experiences compared to standardized self-management training (SSMT). A total of 120 colorectal cancer (CRC) patients will be enrolled and randomized 1:1 to complete a 6-week self-management training program (either PSMT or SSMT) to be carried out by licensed occupational therapists with doctoral training. This study aims to examine whether PSMT is more effective in increasing adherence to healthy behavior recommendations compared to SSMT in CRC patients.
The study will test and refine a novel brain-stimulation tool using gamma-frequency lights coupled with self-selected music for a gamma-music-based intervention for participants with mild Alzheimer's Disease. Results will yield a gamma-stimulation protocol that reliably influences brain activity (Aim 1), is adaptive, motivating and rewarding to use (Aim 2), and will generate predictions as to who might benefit the most from gamma-MBI (Aim 3). By bridging the gap between neurostimulation and behavioral intervention by combining music therapy with gamma- band neurostimulation, the present project aims to find a sustainable intervention that delays the progression of AD.
The purpose is to find out if incorporation of an intraoperative electro auricular acupuncture protocol when added to a standard multimodal analgesic regimen for patients undergoing surgery to repair lower leg fracture under spinal anesthesia will help reduce postoperative opioid use.
