There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This study will evaluate the effects of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in combination with locomotor training in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) and freezing of gait (FOG).
This was a study of INCB052793 given to patients with advanced malignancies that was to be conducted in three phases; Phase 1a (Monotherapy) and Phase 1b (Combination Therapy) and Phase 2 (Combination therapy of INCB052793 with azacitidine and itacitinib with azacitidine). Phase 1 had two parts; a dose escalation (Part 1) and an expansion (Part 2).
The PDA-002-DFU-002 trial is a Phase 2, multicenter, randomized, double blind, placebo controlled, dose range finding study. The study will enroll approximately 133 subjects in four treatment groups. The primary objective of the study is to assess the efficacy and safety of PDA-002 administered intramuscular (IM) in subjects who have DFU with and without PAD. The secondary objective is to explore potential clinical efficacy by assessing changes in vascular parameters such as Ankle-Brachial Index and Toe-Brachial Index (ABI and/or TBI), Transcutaneous oxygen measurements (TcPO2).
The goal of this study is to determine safety and tolerability of Losartan when used for treatment of an acute grade II or III hamstring strain and determining the effect of losartan on recovery of hamstring muscle function. Subjects will be adults age 18 and older with grade 2 or 3 hamstring injury who participate in greater than 100 hours per year in Level 1 or Level 2 athletics or have a similar activities or physical work load (e.g. military personnel). Subjects will undergo examination, MRI, and functional assessment before, during, and after 4 weeks of losartan (50mg QD) or placebo.
Primary Objective To determine if colestipol hydrochloride tablets can accelerate the elimination of teriflunomide. Teriflunomide will be administered for 14 days followed by colestipol dosing of 11 days. Total duration of the study is 40 days. Secondary Objectives To collect information on the pattern of side effects with use of colestipol hydrochloride after teriflunomide administration and to determine the best duration of therapy needed for adequate elimination
The primary objectives of the Phase 1b part of the study are to evaluate the safety, as assessed by incidence of dose limiting toxicity (DLT), of talimogene laherparepvec in combination with pembrolizumab in adults with previously untreated, unresectable, stage IIIB to IVM1c melanoma. The primary objective of Phase 3 are to evaluate the efficacy of talimogene laherparepvec with pembrolizumab versus placebo with pembrolizumab, as assessed by progression-free survival (PFS) (response evaluation by blinded independent central review using modified Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors [RECIST] 1.1) and overall survival (OS).
Dehydration post creation of a diverting ileostomy is a common and debilitating problem faced by patients undergoing ileal-anal pouch anastomoses for both inflammatory bowel disease and familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) syndrome. Those patients with low rectal cancers or other polyposis syndromes e.g. HNPCC hereditary non polyposis colorectal cancers, may potentially have a delay in the adjuvant therapy when faced with this complication. Studies performed in this groups of patients report a readmission rate of 17-21% for dehydration. Loperamide has been shown to significantly decrease the daily volume of weight of stool in these patients. The purpose of this study is to establish whether loperamide given at 4mg three times daily for 14 days from day of discharge empirically decreases 30 days readmission rate for dehydration. The investigators hypothesize that there will be a 15% decrease from 25% to 10% in the readmission rates, that severity of dehydration will be decreased.
Newly admitted patients will be screened for risk of malnutrition. Patients will receive either the feeding protocol or current oral nutrition supplement (ONS) practice, pending location. Patients will continue the nutrition plan taking the supplement post discharge. Study team will follow-up with telephone calls to help support post-discharge ONS compliance. Quality and service utilization data will be gathered for analysis.
This study will help researchers learn about the best dose of radiation to be used when treating large early stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with a treatment called stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR). Current treatments with SABR for early stage NSCLC show positive response. But, for large early stage NSCLC it may be better to give different SABR doses than what is used in routine early stage NSCLC treatment. It is not understood which dose is best for treating large early stage NSCLC. Therefore, this study can help researchers learn if giving a higher dose using SABR over a period of 5-10 treatment days can increase the chance of cure for large early stage NSCLC.
This study assessed the safety and treatment effect of intravenous (IV) Remodulin as an add-on therapy in neonates with persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN).
