Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) Radionuclide Therapy

Start date: August 2, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study is a single-center registry study collecting clinical data regarding the treatment of PSMA-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer treated with PSMA radionuclide therapy per the treating physician's discretion. Clinical data from candidates for or who undergo the PSMA procedure at Methodist Dallas Medical Center from August 2022 to August 2027 will be collected after discharge and patients will undergo clinical follow-up per the treating physician's discretion.

NCT ID: NCT05995223 Recruiting - Down Syndrome Clinical Trials

Oxygen Uptake Kinetics During Submaximal Exercise in Adults With Down Syndrome

Start date: October 4, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to compare the rate at which oxygen uptake adapts to submaximal, moderate intensity exercise (oxygen uptake kinetics) between adults with and without Down syndrome, to determine the contribution of oxygen uptake kinetics to exercise intolerance of adults with Down syndrome. Additionally, the study will investigate the role of oxygen delivery (by the cardiovascular circuit) and oxygen utilization (in the mitochondria) on the oxygen uptake kinetics of adults with Down syndrome to identify specific areas which adults with Down syndrome could benefit from targeting during exercise training. Overall, this study aims to contribute to the knowledge on the exercise capacity of adults with Down syndrome, in order to improve the way adults with Down syndrome participate in and benefit from exercise. Participants will perform a maximal exercise test on a treadmill, and walk on a treadmill at a submaximal, moderate intensity speed and incline, during which oxygen uptake at the lungs, cardiac output, and oxygen utilization in the muscle will be measured.

NCT ID: NCT05995119 Completed - Healthy Volunteers Clinical Trials

Comparative Bioavailability Study of TAH3311 5 mg Oral Dissolving Film vs ELIQUIS® 5 mg Tablet in Healthy Volunteers

Start date: December 5, 2022
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the pharmacokinetic profiles and bioequivalence, and to determine the safety and tolerability of the TAH3311 Oral Dissolving Film (ODF) 5mg compared with ELIQUIS® (Apixaban) 5mg Oral Tablet, after single dose under fasted and fed conditions in healthy volunteers.

NCT ID: NCT05994937 Recruiting - PreDiabetes Clinical Trials

Cleaner Air for Lower Cardiometabolic Risk

Start date: December 26, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this interventional sham-controlled pilot study is to study the effects of using portable air cleaners (PACs) in outpatient adults with prediabetes. The primary aims are to determine the effect PAC's have on glycemic variability and the concentrations of circulating biomarkers of inflammation.

NCT ID: NCT05994924 Recruiting - Obesity, Childhood Clinical Trials

Storytelling To Prevent Obesity and Encourage Responsive Feeding Practices in Young Children

STORY
Start date: February 6, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this qualitative trial study is to assess the usefulness and acceptability of the intervention in diverse clinical and community settings. The main questions it aims to answer are: - How many parents were approached and consented to participate? - How many parents viewed the videos via link versus viewed the video with a discussion in group sessions? - How did parents feel about the process of being recruited and interventions that they participated in? - How did the providers feel about the intervention recruitment and delivery? - How did the facilitators feel about their delivery of the material? Participants will complete a survey and an interview after completing second part of the intervention. Researchers will compare handout, online-only video, and group class interventions to see if an intervention delivery is useful and accepted by parents or providers.

NCT ID: NCT05994846 Enrolling by invitation - Clinical trials for Spinal Cord Injuries

Non-Invasive Electrical and Magnetic Neuromodulation in Persons With Chronic Spinal

RISES-T2
Start date: June 23, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The objectives of this study are to (1) determine the effects of neuromodulation techniques on mobility in persons with chronic SCI, as measured by subjective and objective measures, and (2) to determine the optimal combination of techniques that modify mobility and movement in an individual. The neuromodulation techniques explored will be methods of electromagnetic stimulation - that is, electrical stimulation and magnetic stimulation.

NCT ID: NCT05994833 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Musculoskeletal Complication

Virtual Physical Therapy Support for Runners

Start date: August 10, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will compare standard of care of home exercise for running rehabilitation to the combined treatment of home exercise with an individually provided four-session virtual physical therapy support program intervention on pain and physical function movements (controlled dual and single leg squat and lateral hopping in individuals post running injury. These collective findings will help provide new evidence of the responses to an individually provided virtual PT interventions among runners.

NCT ID: NCT05994807 Completed - Healthy Volunteers Clinical Trials

A Drug-Drug Interaction Study to Assess the Pharmacokinetics of DC-806 When Orally Administered Alone, When Coadministered With Itraconazole, and When Coadministered With Carbamazepine in Healthy Adult Participants

Start date: August 8, 2023
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to assess the effect of a cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) inhibitor (itraconazole) and CYP3A4 inducer (carbamazepine) on the single dose pharmacokinetics (PK) of DC-806 coadministered with itraconazole or carbamazepine in healthy male and female participants.

NCT ID: NCT05994794 Completed - Clinical trials for Elevated S-adenosylhomocysteine

Role of a Dietary Supplement in Lowering SAH in Healthy Adults With Elevated Plasma SAH and Normal Homocysteine Levels

SAH
Start date: December 9, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

S-adenosylhomocysteine (SAH) is the end-product of methylation reactions in the body and the precursor to homocysteine. Elevated SAH in the blood is a reflection of the dysregulation of what is known as the S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) cycle and has been associated with poor health outcomes. The SAM cycle is a series of reversible reactions necessary for the regulation of many processes in the body. The goal of this clinical trial is to assess the ability of a dietary supplement to support healthy plasma SAH levels in individuals with high plasma SAH. Participants in the study will attend a total of 4 clinic visits and consume study product daily for 12 weeks.

Start date: October 20, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the effects of a reward devaluation strategy, which has been researched in the past, combined/augmented with the medication d-cycloserine in assisting smokers to switch from combustible cigarette (CC) to Juul.
