Phase II Palbociclib +Ibrutinib in Mantle Cell Lymphoma

The proposed study is a single-arm, multi-center, open-label phase II study of the combination of palbociclib and ibrutinib in patients with previously treated mantle cell lymphoma to evaluate the efficacy of this combination, with the primary objective of the study being to assess median PFS and the secondary objectives to include ORR, CR, DOR, OS and toxicity. Subjects will be enrolled and treated with palbociclib and ibrutinib with each cycle of therapy being 28 days. Treatment will be based on the recommended phase II dose (RP2D) from the phase I combination trial.

Quercetin Chemoprevention for Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Patients With Fanconi Anemia

Fanconi anemia (FA) is an autosomal recessive disease characterized by progressive bone marrow failure, variable congenital abnormalities and a predisposition to malignancy, particularly acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Improved transplant outcomes are modifying the natural history of Fanconi Anemia. Improved transplant survival, no radiation exposure, and almost no GVHD increases the importance of addressing later SCC even further. The investigators hypothesize that quercetin will prevent or delay the development of SCC and associated complications, there by ameliorating or delaying the need for potentially lethal treatment with chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy for the same. Benefits of µCor in Ambulatory Decompensated Heart Failure

Subjects meeting the inclusion/exclusion criteria will wear the µCor for at least 90 days. During the study, clinic follow up will occur every 30 days. For all subjects, each scheduled clinic visit will include assessment of cardiac symptoms and any relevant clinically actionable events. The subject will be given a daily diary to track symptoms, unplanned hospital visits, medication changes, and all other heart failure related clinical events. Weekly phone calls to the subject will be given throughout the duration of the study to remind the patient to use the subject diary and to collect and record heart failure related clinical events. Subjects will be contacted six months and one year from initial enrollment to assess the vital status of the subject, any heart failure related clinical events since the end of µCor wear, and any health care utilization since the end of µCor wear.

Testing Ramipril to Prevent Memory Loss in People With Glioblastoma

This study is to determine if an oral drug called Ramipril can lower the chance of memory loss in patients with glioblastoma getting chemoradiation. Patients will take Ramipril during chemoradiation and continue until 4 months post-treatment. Memory loss will be assessed using several neurocognitive tests throughout the duration of the study.

The primary aim of this randomized controlled trial is to determine if the integration of a Community Health Worker into the healthcare team is associated with an improvement in diabetes control in children with type 1 diabetes. The secondary objectives are to determine if utilization of Community Health Workers is also associated with reduced emergency department visits and hospitalizations, improved attendance at outpatient diabetes appointments, and improvements in psychosocial outcomes and diabetes control.
