NCT ID: NCT05650086 Suspended - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Novel Thermal Imaging Technique for Breast Screening

Start date: November 15, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This trial is to study a new breast imaging tool called Thermalytix™. ThermalytixTM is a new radiation-free, automated breast cancer screening technique that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) over thermal images. Thermal images are heat signatures in our body. This new technique will capture heat signatures in the breast and analyze those images with AI software. This study will evaluate the performance of ThermalytixTM breast imaging against standard imaging modalities, such as mammography and ultrasound.

NCT ID: NCT05647694 Suspended - Clinical trials for Blindness and Low Vision

V-NAV Usability Study: End Users Trying the Vortant Indoor Navigation Tool

Start date: June 1, 2024
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study will begin with an explanatory/training session where individuals with low vision will learn to use the V-NAV (Vortant NAVigation tool) indoor navigation app, and will have the opportunity to try it for a few representative tasks. The main activity includes a take-home trial, an extended unstructured period to emulate the post-purchase experience of users, during which participants will have the opportunity to use the V-NAV in their everyday lives. Data will be collected from the users to measure the relative advantage of V-NAV compared to the user's current indoor navigation method.

NCT ID: NCT05645016 Suspended - Opioid Overdose Clinical Trials

Tailoring Overdose Education for Black Churches

Start date: April 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Church-based interventions are culturally acceptable, reduce access barriers, and can be brought to scale in under-resourced communities. For Overdose Education and Naloxone Distribution (OEND) to be efficacious in Black churches, tailoring may be needed. For this audience, standard OEND curricula may need to be adapted to their level of knowledge of substance use disorders (SUDs), and limited general mental health literacy, and specifically address stigma related to SUDs and medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). Finally, a tailored implementation strategy may need to address contextual variations (e.g., denomination and membership size) across churches. The proposed pilot study aims to identify the socio-cultural modifications that will be needed to adapt our previously developed training (i.e., COEST) to target Black communities of faith. In a pilot randomized controlled trial (RTC) of adapted COEST in a stepped-wedge design.

NCT ID: NCT05643729 Suspended - COPD Clinical Trials

Zofin to Treat Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Start date: November 15, 2023
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

A Phase I/II Randomized, Double Blinded, Placebo Trial to Evaluate the Safety and Potential Efficacy of Intravenous Infusion (IV) of Zofin for the Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

NCT ID: NCT05643690 Suspended - Bladder Cancer Clinical Trials

Urine Sample Collection for Validation of the AnchorDx UriFind™ Bladder Cancer Assay

Start date: November 18, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The AnchorDx UriFind™ Bladder Cancer Assay is designed to detect 2 DNA methylation biomarkers in urine specimens from patients 22 years or older suspected of having bladder cancer. Results from the assay are intended for use, in conjunction with current standard diagnostic procedures, as an aid for initial diagnosis of bladder carcinoma in patients.

NCT ID: NCT05617625 Suspended - Clinical trials for Myelodysplastic Syndromes

CD34+ Enriched Transplants to Treat Myelodysplastic Syndrome

Start date: June 2024
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate whether processing blood stem cell transplants using an investigational device (the CliniMACS system) results in fewer complications for patients who undergo transplant to treat a blood malignancy (cancer) or blood disorder. The CliniMACS system will be used to remove immune T-cells from the transplant donor's blood. Immune T-cells contribute to graft versus host disease (GVHD) - a serious complication that can happen after transplant. GVHD occurs when a patient's immune system attacks the donor's cells. The study aims to reduce the number of the donor immune T-cells thereby preventing or reducing the severity of GVHD.

NCT ID: NCT05617313 Suspended - Clinical trials for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

Study of GT103 in Combination With Pembrolizumab in Refractory, Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Start date: February 17, 2023
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This open-label, non-randomized Phase II trial is designed to assess the safety and tolerability of GT103 in combination with pembrolizumab in adult subjects with relapsed or refractory, metastatic NSCLC. The study will consist of a safety lead-in of 10-20 patients. A total of 50 patients will be treated with the combination at the safest dose of GT103 as determined in the safety lead-in. If 10 additional patients are enrolled to the dose level -1 then the maximum of 60 subjects may be accrued to this trial.

NCT ID: NCT05609812 Suspended - Clinical trials for Lupus Nephritis (LN)

Atacicept in Subjects With Active Lupus Nephritis (COMPASS)

Start date: November 2, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The objective of the study is to evaluate the effect of atacicept compared to placebo on changes to renal response in adult subjects with LN.
