NCT ID: NCT05015478 Completed - Clinical trials for Mild Cognitive Impairment

Rhythmic Light Therapy for Alzheimer's Disease Patients

Start date: January 10, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigator will investigate how light delivering 40 hertz (Hz) affects subjective sleep and cognition in a controlled laboratory study. A lab study will allow the collection of electroencephalogram (EEG) data, perform cognitive tests, and observe the response in those with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) compared to a healthy control group (HC). Participants will attend two study sessions over the course of two weeks. During both sessions, all participants will experience 10 minutes of a low-level light, followed by a data collection period which involves a sleepiness rating, an electroencephalogram (EEG) recording, and a computerized memory test. Participants will then experience either a RL or a placebo RL condition for one hour, after which there will be a second data collection.

NCT ID: NCT05015088 Completed - Clinical trials for Gastrocnemius Tightness

Effectiveness of Gastrocnemius Stretching

Gastroc
Start date: May 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The aims of this study are to: (1) determine muscle activation of the tibialis posterior muscle during different common gastrocnemius stretches and (2) radiographically quantify the tibial-calcaneal angle during the common stretching positions. We hypothesize that stretching over the edge of a step with the arch supported will minimize the activation of the tibialis posterior muscle in addition to increasing the tibial-calcaneal angle.

NCT ID: NCT05014906 Completed - Rosacea Clinical Trials

Efficacy of Oral Minocycline (Solodyn) and Oral Minocycline (Solodyn) Plus Azelaic Acid (Finacea) for Acne Rosacea

Start date: May 2010
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Rosacea is one of the most commonly occurring dermatoses treated by dermatologist today. Rosacea is an inflammatory condition of the skin presenting as flushing and or blushing along with redness, swelling, telangiectasia, and acne lesions. Minocycline has shown beneficial in the treatment of inflammatory acne lesions in patients with rosacea. This study is to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of minocycline (Solodyn) alone versus minocycline (Solodyn) in combination with azelaic acid 15%(Finacea) in the treatment of rosacea.
