NCT ID: NCT00578591 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Graft vs Host Disease

Rituximab for GVHD

Rituximab GVHD
Start date: June 2007
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a prospective, open-label pilot study in which 4 doses of Rituximab are administered to patients who have developed SR-aGVHD following allogeneic hematopoietic transplant (AHT). The study is designed to determine the overall survival at 180 days after treatment with rituximab, and evaluates the safety and clinical response to rituximab in this study population. Study entry: Patients must enter study on or before day +100 posttransplant.

NCT ID: NCT00578396 Withdrawn - Colon Cancer Clinical Trials

Phase I Biomarker Study of Dietary Grape-derived Low Dose Resveratrol for Colon Cancer Prevention

Start date: December 2007
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study is designed to investigate the dietary influence of grapes in colon cancer prevention. A natural compound found in the skin of grapes, resveratrol, may protect against cancer by acting as an antioxidant (a chemical compound or substance that helps reduce damages due to oxygen). This compound is known to block colon cancer cell lines from growing in the laboratory. The purpose of this study is to determine the minimum amount of resveratrol-rich fresh red grapes needed to exhibit such signs of prevention.

NCT ID: NCT00578188 Withdrawn - Chlamydia Infection Clinical Trials

Chlamydia Trachomatis Persistence in the Female Gastrointestinal Tract

Start date: February 2006
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to determine if Chlamydial infections persist in the rectum of females who have had a sexually transmitted infection of Chlamydia.

NCT ID: NCT00578045 Withdrawn - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

UARK 2006-28 Human Cord Blood Transplantation in Advanced Hematological Malignancies

Start date: July 2006
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The researchers want to find out if subjects treated on this study will achieve long term bone marrow recovery (engraftment) and if their tumors will respond to this treatment.

NCT ID: NCT00577668 Withdrawn - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

A Pilot Study of the Combination of Melphalan, Bortezomib, Thalidomide and Dexamethasone (MEL-VTD)

Start date: April 2007
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

In this study, researchers want to find out if using the VTD regimen, along with higher doses melphalan, in subjects who have relapsed or progressed after previous transplant(s), can be given safely to subjects who have failed previous transplant(s).

NCT ID: NCT00577343 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Hospital Acquired MRSA

Hospital Acquired and Community Acquired MRSA in GI Lab

Start date: April 2009
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

Hospital acquired and community acquired methicillin resistant staph aureus (MRSA) has become an important health issue for in recent years. Up to two thirds of patients that are hospitalized may be colonized with MRSA. The prevalence in the community is also on the rise and affects the young and healthy. It is unclear what the true prevalence of MRSA is in our own hospital and outpatient setting. This information would be relevant to how healthcare staff adhere to contact and universal precautions. : The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of MRSA in patients that have gastrointestinal endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound.

NCT ID: NCT00577187 Withdrawn - Heart Failure Clinical Trials

Placement of CS/LV Pacing Leads With EnSite NavX Guidance

Start date: June 2008
Phase: Early Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This study utilizes the 3D mapping capabilities of the EnSite NavX mapping system to help guide the placement of the left ventricular lead during cardiovascular resynchronization therapy implant procedures with the goal of reducing fluoroscopic exposure and procedure time.

NCT ID: NCT00577161 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Fludarabine, Pixantrone and Rituximab vs Fludarabine and Rituximab forRelapsed or Refractory Indolent NHL

Start date: September 2007
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

BBR 2778 is a novel aza-anthracenedione that has activity in experimental tumors and reduced delayed cardiotoxicity in animal models compared to reference standards. This cytotoxic agent has structural similarities to mitoxantrone as well as general similarities to anthracyclines (such as the tricyclic central quinoid chromophore7). This phase III study will compare the efficacy and safety of the combination BBR 2778, fludarabine, and rituximab with the combination fludarabine and rituximab in patients with relapsed or refractory indolent non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT00576225 Withdrawn - NSCLC Clinical Trials

CT-2103/Carboplatin vs Paclitaxel/Carboplatin for NSCLC in Women With Estradiol > 25 pg/mL

Start date: September 2007
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is designed to test whether CT-2103/carboplatin provides improved overall survival compared to paclitaxel/carboplatin in women with NSCLC who have estradiol levels >30 pg/ml.

NCT ID: NCT00576121 Withdrawn - Clinical trials for Acute Myocardial Infarction

Measurement of Matrix Metalloproteinase Activation Post Myocardial Infarction

Start date: July 2008
Phase: N/A
Study type: Observational

This study is designed to look at the measurement and prediction of changes in the heart following a heart attack.
