There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose of afatinib and necitumumab and to see how well they work in treating patients with EGFR mutation positive non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to other places in the body. Afatinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Monoclonal antibodies, such as necitumumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving afatinib and necitumumab may work better in treating patients with EGFR mutation positive non-small cell lung cancer.
This pilot clinical trial studies how well a smart phone application works in increasing physical activity in breast cancer survivors. A smart phone application that increases physical activity may help reduce the likelihood of cancer coming back in breast cancer survivors.
The study is designed to develop and validate an instrument to measure quality and adherence to IPT for research and training purposes. The measure is now being used to evaluate training in IPT.
This is an initial validation study of the Personal Nutrition Project (PNP) algorithm in a North American population with recently diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes (T2D). This is a 2-stage, single-group feeding study in 20 individuals, including 10 participants managed with lifestyle alone, and 10 managed with lifestyle plus metformin.
The purpose of this study will be to evaluate and compare patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty (TKA) with sensor guidance versus that of a standard technique. Each patient will be assessed for the difference between passive, soft tissue controlled, pressure balance and muscle activated pressure balance.
This is a Phase 2 multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study of ATR-101 to evaluate the efficacy and safety of orally-administered ATR-101 in adults with endogenous Cushing's syndrome. Following wash-out (if needed), all eligible subjects will enter an open-label intra-subject dose-escalation period of 8 weeks' duration, followed either by a double-blind randomized withdrawal period of 4 weeks' duration (if the subject meets randomization criteria) or by an additional open label dosing period of 4 weeks' duration (if the subject does not meet randomization criteria). It is anticipated that the overall duration of the study per subject will range from approximately 16-22 weeks.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate whether selonsertib (SEL; GS-4997) can cause fibrosis regression and reduce associated complications in adults with cirrhosis due to NASH.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate whether selonsertib (SEL; GS-4997) can cause fibrosis regression and reduce progression to cirrhosis and associated complications in adults with NASH and bridging (F3) fibrosis.
This study is designed to assess the imaging characteristics of Flortaucipir (18F-AV-1451) in subjects who participated in the Biomarkers of Cognitive Decline Among Normal Individuals (BIOCARD) study at Johns Hopkins University.
The objective of this study is to determine the accuracy of a hydraulically coupled twitch monitor compared to the EMG twitch monitor in current use to measure the extent of neuromuscular blockade in patients undergoing general anesthesia.
